Thanks Cam! They're frustrating little buggers but stick with it and it'll pay off for you. Enjoy the weekend!

I am jumping out of my chair with the fishing. How good are you worming.... wish I could do that.

Thanks Sandra! I enjoy worming as much as I enjoy fishing, it's quite addictive 😝 Anyone can do it, it just takes practice and LOTS of patience when you start out!

Awesome stuff mate. Great camping trip. Loved how much the dog enjoyed it. 4wd camping is definitely on my bucket list.

Thank you! I think the dog gets more out of these beach trips than we do 🤣

Great trip Adam. We have done one weekend already this year and am going over at Easter for a week, then a week in June/July. Can feel my blood pressure go down as soon as we get on the ferry. Best spot in the world.

Thanks Doug! Straddie is a hidden gem. I'm amazed more people don't visit. We have a tropical paradise on our doorstep but it often gets overlooked for Fraser or Moreton. Enjoy the week over Easter!

Hi Adam loved your video and love straddie.Hubby and I are heading over in 2 weeks. Was told D was a great place with a caravan? What do you think please? So different you have to choose somewhere you can't see or been. Just want a great holiday.

Hi Sandra, thanks for the positive feedback! I haven't camped at track D before so I can't offer much insight I'm afraid. I wouldn't stress about it too much. Looking for a campsite is part of the adventure. The beach and the camp track conditions are constantly changing. The amount of traffic that uses them plays a big part but so does big swell and bad weather. Minjerriba camping are the best people to ask about the track conditions the week before your trip. They patrol the campsites and keep track of their condition. Regardless, walk the tracks first before you try and drive up them. If you aren't confident you'll make it just keep checking the tracks down the beach for an easier one. Have fun!

If you don’t mind. What rods are you using to catch Taylor And whiting. What set up using for Beach fishing. Even making a video about set up ? Went to BCF I’m a bit lost graphite

@@SJ-ef4pv Hi mate, my go to gear for whiting is Snyderglas Crusoe Island CR4126 (10'6 low mount) Alvey 625B 6lb mono main line (2.7kg) 6lb flurocarbon trace Basically it's a whippy fibreglass rod. I find it comfortable to use and easy to hold for long sessions. I also like the Gary Howard Breambo 4 wrap or 5 wrap. The 4 wrap is great for whiting but a little under gunned for the dart. In the surf, the 5 wrap is a good Allrounder. The Wilson Live fibre 10ft6 is also a great rod, I don't have the pleasure of owning one yet but it's on my Xmas wishlist . For tailor I use a 13ft6 Wilson Live fibre trophy. I love that rod so much I bought a second one as back-up lol. Traditionally graphite rods are designed with lures in mind, and fibreglass rods are usually used for bait fishing. I hope that helps, I'll try and do a tackle video to explain it a bit better.

What camp zone were you in. Was entry difficult or only for your brother?
@adamneeson Жыл бұрын
Hi Ian, we camped at track 8. Minjerriba camping has renamed the tracks with letters so track G is the new signpost. Track G entry was fine without a trailer. If you're towing a trailer the entry to track H is much easier and you can use the backtrack back to G. Track F doesn't connect to camp track G behind the dunes. There's a tree across the track.
