This song is so damn pretty. It reminds me of a recurring dream I used to have when I was about 7 years old. The sunlight would wake me. The window next to my bed would open itself. A cloudy staircase would form outside the window. I'd climb out of the window and walk up the stairs. I'd reach the clouds, where I'd find friends playing and having fun. I'd lay down on a recliner, enjoying the sight of my friends being happy.

A year before COVID, I went to a nice brewery in DTLA after a long day and half way in I noticed they were playing Beach House over the speakers, so I asked and our server said that that was her Beach House playlist playing, and I told her how I've just recently discovered Beach House and it's been the best thing ever. it was one of the most wholesome moments ever
