Treasure Hunting at Santa Monica Beach. Metal detecting with the Minelab Vanquish 540 metal detector. Found silver (925) along with other treasures.
Once again, Christine had a great day of detecting while I collected trash...lol
Seriously though, we both had a good day and who could not...Was such a nice day to be out on an adventure.

@@DigginSoCal ok when you use your scoop to dig when you go to bring it up kick the sand out with your foot in front of you . Then when it's out use your foot to move the sand and scan it then .

I have a vanquish 540 that I purchased 2 months ago. But when I go out it makes a lot of chatter noises. And yours don't? What settings do you put yours on? Can you give me some tips? Or can you do a video on that when you go out to hunt what you set it to So I can adjust mine like yours. Thanks.

Sett your sensitivity down 2-3 notches. You will still have plenty of depth.😊A good thing to do around fire rings too.
