Thank you, my best ever find was a George 4th half sovereign 1824.....it wasn't found on a beach though!.

Do you have any problems detecting the dual metal coins?

No, £1 & £2 coins both give off a good signal(21-24) but there are occasional changes in the signal ranging between -6 and 39. I don't know if they've changed the 2 metals they use at any point but I have had quite a few £1 coins that gave off a completely different signal to what was expected.

ive noticed from watching your videos, majority of your trips are whilst the tourists are out, whats your reason for this as I find them annoying, constantly asking questionings, cracking their jokes and kids wanting your treasure, they just slow me down and get on my nerves. I enjoy first thing in the morning and later on in the evening when its just you and the dog walkers pretty much. Love your videos and seeing the breakdown, would be good to see the trash content as well. for each coin 3 bits of trash had to be dug.

I can't do early mornings, in fact I can barely walk before 11am most days(degenerative disc disease). I get to the beach early afternoon and stay till late so sometimes I get the stragglers hassling me. As for the trash..it varies but I get the same amount of foil, cans, ring pulls and bottle tops everyone else gets I just rarely bother showing them.
