I've still got the Quish, I kept it in case the Deus didn't work at Ingoldmells but it does so the Nox & Quish are getting sold as soon as I can be bothered to list them on FB.

I do my best to keep the beach clean for visitors!😃

I've done it before Dave, the music there is sometimes way too loud and I've had to re-edit and re-upload videos a few times in the past because of it.....KZbin can be very harsh when they feel like it 😞

Liar? I would say an incredibly honest guy that reunites owners with their property whenever he reasonably can, he obviously cares about doing the right thing. Thief? What a wicked accusation, I hope he sues you, I will gladly donate to his legal fees. Grave robber? A public beach is a public beach and not a grave of any kind, so another wicked and false accusation. Trading off other peoples bad luck and sorrows? Do you mean like a Doctor, a nurse, a dentist, a solicitor, an undertaker, a judge, an insurer, a bookie, a roofer, a car mechanic or someone else that earns a living from other peoples bad luck and sorrow? If you bother to look at his videos you will clearly see there is no living to be earned from this, it is simply a hobby that would not even cover the cost of the wear and tear of his footwear let alone the cost of the equipment it needs. I suggest you delete your post and replace it with an apology.

I doubt very much if she was telling the truth but you can't be too careful and karma can be a bitch.

Check on ebay, there are a few Garrett Ace machines that come with a pin pointer for under £300 or just go for a 2nd hand Vanquish 440 and get the pin pointer separately .

I'm guessing it is.....just need to find some drugs now to test it.....for research purposes obviously 😆

Hi Debbie, no you don't need a licence to detect on 99% of UK beaches with Cleethorpes being the only place I know of where you do.

@@debbiecolyer7564 There are no cheap versions worth having, I use mine every day so it needs to be well made and resilient and unfortunately that costs money. You can get hand held scoops for less than £20 though but they're useless on wet sand.

I can't do early mornings, in fact I can barely walk before 11am most days(degenerative disc disease). I get to the beach early afternoon and stay till late so sometimes I get the stragglers hassling me. As for the trash..it varies but I get the same amount of foil, cans, ring pulls and bottle tops everyone else gets I just rarely bother showing them.

No, £1 & £2 coins both give off a good signal(21-24) but there are occasional changes in the signal ranging between -6 and 39. I don't know if they've changed the 2 metals they use at any point but I have had quite a few £1 coins that gave off a completely different signal to what was expected.

I must apologise for my lack of professionalism.....it's mainly due to me not being a professional 🙂

It's entirely down to your conscience and if it's actually possible to trace the owner, unless a wedding ring his an inscription it's near impossible to trace the owner because wedding rings all look so similar. With other rings it's not much different, unless someone can produce physical evidence to prove it's theirs chances are it's not.
