Yea, sanded in a bit, but not as bad as west coast. The pirate of Miami beach tryed a hunt in Naples. No heavy metals, lots of light stuff, like everybodies favorite pull tabs. Was suprised to see the heavy stuff like fishing weights there. I would hit treasure fleet area when you can get to it. You never know. I am trying to figure out how I could get my 2 or 300lbs. of sinkers down to Brazil to sell. I,ll try and get you some more subscribers, on your way to your first thousand.😊

That would be awesome! If I can’t hit 1k subs by next year I will probably stop making free videos for KZbin. Their algorithm is totally messed up! Why make Google richer! Lol

As far as Naples it is a hit or miss place. I spent many hours in the water there and it wasn’t a banger of an area! It’s because there isn’t allot of beach access so less people to loose stuff. Even their biggest park was so so for targets. There is no reason to leave Miami and that area to hunt. It’s the best place in Florida on my opinion.

The only problem with the fleet area is …… I believe everyone that has found anything good has been in the wet! Even though they have made videos finding treasure in the dry to avoid the stupid greedy treasure laws! I don’t blame them one bit! But……. I had a FWC officer ninja up on me out of nowhere just to remind me I shouldn’t be hunting down low or in the water. They are pretty serious about it! And I do t need the hassle of going to jail or loosing my equipment ! They are BS laws as our taxes pay for those beaches ! I just don’t agree with them as many other feel the same way! And they replenished the beaches so allot of crap empty sand has been pulled down the last few years. But as the hunting gets worse in my local area I will probably do a few hunts down there at night all blacked out ! If you feel me. They have many cameras set up on many houses down that way from what I am told. And people will rat you out if given the chance! But like you say you never know!

The beach was being stingy that day. Lol

Also you have to know the beach I was on. They dumped acres of sand over 25’ high all the way to the dune and all of it has been pulled down onto the beach. The weight you can find all the time as it is a popular fishing spot. But I agree when I find old weights it’s time to slow down and hit it hard. These weights were new and didnt have any white corrosion on them. Hope that clears it up a bit. But you never know as the beach is always changing each tide cycle.

Hi there brother....does it read/detect lead sinkers??
@FlTreasureHunter3 күн бұрын
Yes all metals. On the core the smudge is just below the non Ferris line. That how you know it’s a sinker or lead. Unless there is SS gear attached then it throws the reading off.

I was trying to get to the area of the treasure fleet but the cops had the roads shut down due to power-lines being down. The tornados that spun off this storm on the east coast were historic!

wow the heavy stuff is up, no reason to stop seeking

Had hurricane stuff to attend to and the beaches I wanted to hunt were closed off due to power-lines and such. I didn’t sleep much the night before and I was dragging butt! When you get in your 50’s you need more than 3 hours sleep! Lol
