Always respect a man who has the backbone, to swing the big coils, i started out with the old 15 in, wot coil back in the ninetys, with my sovereign and excal, I also have what I call the beast, my garrett ATX, pulse, with a 20 inch coil, good hunt, goes to show it's all about location, there's always something to be found somewhere, thanks for sharing, sea ya on the beach,🏝🌀🌊

Thank you! Normally the Treasure Coast beaches are quiet as a mouse because they are detected very thoroughly. When we get just the right wind and wave action, some good spots sometimes appear!

That’s the exact place I wanted to be after those storms. Me and some buddies might be down this winter just to say we hit treasure coast. New sub here by the way from Massachusetts, I do a ton of beach detecting and that place looks like a lot of fun!!
@lifesatreasure5776Күн бұрын
The storms mostly sanded areas in or didn't pull enough sand out. It was really beach specific with this storm. Once I found that cut, I felt that that was going to be my best shot at finding anything. Good luck this winter! If you have the time, try to make a trip to the Mel Fisher's Treasure Museum in Sebastian and also the McClarty Treasure Museum, which is at the site of the main survivor's camp along A1A.

Same thing in Jersey orange or black sand means treasure. Great hunt, lots of info👍Cool plated bracelet, ring. Nice haunted gold bracelet 😂 New Subscriber👋

Thank you for subscribing! It took a long time of detecting re-nourishment sand and finding nothing but junk before I learned how to read the beaches and understand when and where was good or bad hunting, and why. Unfortunately, there are very few times throughout the year that the beaches on Treasure Coast get just the right conditions for good hunting. My wife and I still laugh every time we mention the "haunted bracelet." That was just ridiculously funny!

@@lifesatreasure5776 yes there is definitely a learning curve to beach hunting. One day that light bulb just goes on!!😁👋

Nice job digging up some old stuff.. was hoping you would get some shipwreck treasures!!! :)

Unfortunately, the wind didn't pull enough of the re-nourishment sand off the beaches, but that little cut I found still provided some newer treasures. I was really hoping to find shipwreck treasure, too!

Thank you so much for the subscription! I legit thought that my wife had hit me on the head, maybe to get my attention or something. She had never done that before in 23 years of marriage, so I was very confused. We're still laughing about it!

Congratulations on your retirement! I hope to go creek dredging in Alaska one day. My treasure hunting adventures began while I was stationed in California. I use to go gold prospecting and have a few nice nuggets to show for it. I'll be posting some desert prospecting adventures soon.

@@lifesatreasure5776 I have a sluice box but I also have a gpx5000 ( not water proof) . I have watched 3 of your videos. I like that your not afraid to say where your at and there is no foul language. Oh I don’t have virgin ears but it’s just nice not to have to hear it when possible. You got my subscription .
@lifesatreasure57765 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for the subscription! You have a great nugget hunting machine with that GPX5000! The Treasure Coast is over 30 miles long and will never be hunted out, and the hunting conditions change from one tide cycle to the next so keeping locations secret doesn't really accomplish anything. Plus, I love it when other treasure hunters are successful. It shows that there is still plenty out there to find! I figure I got all the foul language out of me when I was in the Navy, lol.
@BobPop-n2r3 күн бұрын
Great video 👍 you are obviously a Serious Beach detectorist , So I do wonder why ? You are still using a 3030? Which is not the lightest of machines by along way + you use such a heavy large coil also ? Why not use the Manticore on the beach ..??? Goodluck ..😊
@lifesatreasure57763 күн бұрын
Thank you for the compliment! I bought the 30/30 and the monster coil about 10 years ago when I had a nice windfall. It is a great beach machine, and that monster coil goes deep, but it is definitely on the heavy side. I would love to purchase a Manticore, but right now have other financial priorities.
