Thanks so much!! I struggle with picking colors, too. I’ll usually start with either a theme or a single color I want to use. If I want to use dioxide purple, for example, I’ll start grabbing colors that I think will look good and then line them up so I can see them all together. And using different shades of the same color seems to work. So if I’m using blues I’ll add a few different shades of blue that compliment each other, then maybe throw in a pink or orange (or something that will contrast the blue). Shelee told me when I was starting out to pick only 5 colors until I got comfortable with how they play together. If you mix up an assortment of colors you can also do little tests on small coasters to see how they work together and keep a little journal. I hope that makes sense, lol

I’ll give that a try. I didn’t put enough pillow on the scooper so a lot of the sand didn’t come off. And I think trying to estimate how much paint to use to get coverage, but not loose so much off the sides. It’s a constant struggle 😂
