Hey guys! A very detailed review of a cute place. For the price, seems like they have the appropriate amenities. I know Santa Cruz is near and dear to you and your families hearts with much history. For us, we prefer many other coastal towns, for this reason, the "riff-raff" factor. I don't want to sound insensitive, sorry if I am, but I'd be curious to hear how the town has changed, if at all, from back in the days when you and pops were surfing there?

@SippyCupAdventures Thanks! I kept thinking of you guys on this trip. You've done so many fun places to stay videos. This area for me can have a touch of rif raff in the evenings. Not so much the time of year when we went, more so the on season when the Boardwalk is open. We've always considered this side, the west side, the more touristy spot. I'd like to find a place on the east side and try that out. This place felt very safe. We believe the rif raff we were hearing was coming from the outside bar at Jack's. I haven't been in the water for a minute, so idk how the vibes have been lately. We had a blast, and I'd love to do more of these videos. Cheers!

@@ChooseAdventureCaliforniaStyle Yeah, hoots and hollers from local bars is normal. I do have a video I am working on now that is SOO dam detailed, it's making me overthink it. 😁You know how that goes. Trying to find the perfect title too, about the Fishermans' Wharf/Pier 39 area, typically where we DON"T stay. Trying to navigate a unique title different than most, but, yet gets a good Tubebuddy score.
