Great hunt, Gin. I’m glad to see you using a Nokta metal detector. I used a lot but found the Nokta Kruzer and have found awesome finds with it even gone back to old searched areas. After ground balance at my area I’m searching, I put different items like gold rings of different kinds 10k, 14, and silver rings and chains and gold chains and study the signal or numbers they correspond with each. Don’t forget to ground balance your pin pointer each time you turn it on by touching the ground with it before using it. I have the same one, it will make a huge difference. Can’t wait for your next video. Good luck.

I’ve always liked Nokta - they make a great machine. The gold kruzer was one of my first machines and I still have it. This legend is a beast and did great, but I probably would only choose to use it on shorter hunts because of weight.

Haha, I was surprised and thrilled! I think I’d use the legend as a backup, but it’s much heavier than the one I normally use. When you hunt for 8-10 hours at a time like I do, weight really matters.

I've owned the legand for a bit now and I absolutely love it. I have a nokta ambitio as well. The ambitious goes deeper but the legend is a lighter easier to swing detector.

It did great, but was a bit heavier than I’m used to. I really wish it was lighter because I truly liked the machine. Not sure if I’d build up to the weight difference over time…..it’s a big issue for me since my hunts run so long.

The Nokta Legend weighs about the same as the D2, does the one you used have the LG24 or LG30 coil and the Carbon Fiber shafts and upgraded arm cuff like the currently shipping machines?

Try not to rely on numbers Gin. People have become addicted to them and to screen staring. Use the screen to set your modes and just dig the tones girl. Only fools walk away from faint scratchy tiny mid or high tones, simply because the numbers have gone scatty or dropped out entirely. Lovely rings😊

Great machine - performed like a champ and I love the Nokta tones. It’s much heavier though, and I was really suffering by the 6 hour mark.lol. I’m sure for most guys the weight wouldn’t be an issue though.
