Beachcomber Drive cul de sac Flooding, March/April 2022.

In late March 2022 Byron Bay had 300mm of rain in a 24 hour period which caused serious flooding throughout the town centre but also to several inland areas including the Arakwal National park along Tallow Beach.
This video, shot 5 days after the floods, shows the amount of water still dominating the lower areas at the northern end of Beachcomber Drive and the inundation of water in the adjoining National Park.
