i have had this light for more than a year now. it is very useful and it is my favourite flashlight. that is unfortunate about the clip - i would hope they will improve that, but i am a bit worried that fenix will not continue with the MC series (sadly i missed out on the sunwayman L10A because it was discontinued before i had disposable cash to buy one). one suggestion that might help is to slide the clip around from the back to the front of the light, and slipping the body of the light into a front pants/shirt/jacket pocket where the weight may be distributed better, relieving some of the tension on the clip. btw, on my particular mc11 the mode memory works for the flashing modes, maybe yours is a dud as far as that goes.

Agree!...MC11 is garbage quality.... For about the same price of the MC11, I ended up purchasing the Sunwayman C22C which has the advantages of both, traditional and L-shaped flashlights. The two lights equipped can work independently as well as simultaneously. Modes: Turbo: 1000 lumens High: 580 lumens / 2hrs Mid: 130 lumens / 10hrs Low: 35 lumens / 30hrs Strobe: 1000 lumens Great little light, check it out!
