I find your bead briefs to be very educational and helpful in making me a more informed bead shopper. I would like to know more about tiger eye, is the golden brown the only natural color? So many new varieties are on the market these days. As a young adult I only remember seeing the brown variety with the brighter, shiny golden coloring. But I really don't know if this is just the most common variety and the rest is dyed or if other colors are natural but rare and more expensive. 🤷♀️

Thanks for the great information. I belong to a rock club and most descriptions go over my head. I love how you explained the differences between and show examples.

This was very informative! I think I will make a playlist of these types of videos so I can go back and re-watch frequently. I learn best by repetition. Thanks so much!

There are so many beautiful and fascinating stones in agates. I hope to collect more of them, and the fact that I can make them into jewelry in a big bonus. Thank you.

It would be fun to learn more about the main beads from the bead box. But, whatever you do, we love these bead briefs.

I appreciate these educational opportunities. I prefer to be an informed consumer and (hopefully), have at least a limited overview of details re components in my jewelry.

A caveat: there are MANY more types of agate out there! These are just a few of the most common forms I see on the market right now. :)

@ thanks, that’s probably the more common of the two correct ways, and the one I just cannot seem to get right! I’ve had to settle for the second way: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYakZ6d-ltiLfLc I appreciate you sharing a correct pronunciation! 💕 It’s always helpful to learn. Thank you!

I am obsessed with the black tourmaline. They say it’s the most “powerful” gemstone as far as healing purposes. How can you tell the difference between black onyx and black tourmaline? I love your educational videos! I really appreciate your truthfulness on your stones. Thank you so much!! Oh, and I did order two of those fossil pendants. Can’t wait to get them! ❤ (always love to see the designs your nails too😉)

Thanks so much for the kind words! :) And that's a great question. Black onyx usually has that liquid sort of chalcedony shine to it-- it looks more like an agate. White banding is a dead giveaway that the stone is onyx/agate and not tourmaline. Black tourmaline tends to have a very garnet-like gloss, a linear structure, and often has tiny surface imperfections/uneven texture due to the structure of the stone. I hope this helps!
