I finally got around to filming my bead collection and how I store everything! I'm so sorry it took so long, but better late than never right? Let me know if you'd like me to split things up and go through each container a little more in depth. I hope you all enjoy this video! Keep giving me video requests so I can be sure to post videos you all will enjoy :)
You all are amazing!

Well thank you for mentioning that most artists are not totally organized. I needed to hear this badly. I feel so much less alone now. Thank you ❤

im new to making Handmade jewelry and i plan to sell what i make and all of your beads looks like so much money to me, i dont know if you make stuff to sell all i know is that you could make so much money from all of your beads, it was a fun tour, ive just started buying from bee bee craft because they sell so much that ill be able to make back the money from what i bought from them, ive started with just making earings next i plant to make bracelets and necklaces and then sets, have a good day !

Beads and cats are the perfect combo! The big downside of compartmentalized storage containers is all the empty space. But they stack and look a lot more organized... tradeoffs. The Dollar Tree (the $1.25 Tree) have 6 or 8 clear round containers with snap on lids. I use these in the plastic drawers you have to organize beads/findings. I like them bc if you store them upside down, it is easy to see the contents. They also sell smaller multi-compartment boxes which are great to store focals. You have a done a great job organizing, especially as you don't have a dedicated craft space. Everyone has their own method, but I would really consider get all my finding together, sorted by metal. It really helps design when you see all you options and it helps with inventory control of things used a lot... head pins, ear wires, toggles, etc... Echo is stunning btw.

That’s really great to know, I might have to go check out the Dollar Tree. The one I used to always go to never had a great selection of anything really, but I recently went to a different store near me and that one was much better so maybe I’ll have better luck there. I really appreciate your advice on keeping things like metal findings together. I definitely agree and hopefully in the future I can reorganize and do things a little differently. At the time of filming this, my main goal was just getting everything in a container haha 😂 Also I’ll be sure to tell Echo she has a fan, she really soaks up all the attention she can possibly get ☺️

1. You are perfectly organized. (I know you must be joking when you say you're not organized) 2. You have some amazing stone/beads on hand. 3. My top bead to create with are the Lampwork Beads I love them! 4. You have a wealth of knowledge and skill. When you said you were 21yrs old and started beading in middle school, my mouth dropped (lol). I do not know if you have Esty or Amazon account where your sell your pieces, or even a website, but you should seriously think about it if you don't.(Just a suggestions) Lastly, we would love to see you create your own pieces, while also teaching tutorials. (PS: Don't worry about the length of this video. You gave the folks what they asked for and it was great.) Thanks for sharing. 💯❤😁

Okay I swear you’re like my hype person 😂 and I absolutely love it! You know, I’ve worked a little with lampwork beads but really not a ton. They are so pretty though and they’re all so different! I wish I had some of my first few creations…. that would’ve been so entertaining to show haha! I’m actually really wanting to start an Etsy or maybe my own separate website. I’ve heard both good and bad things about Etsy so I’m kind of scared to try it. Although I suppose even if I don’t like it I can just stop selling right? I’m so glad you mentioned tutorials and creation videos! I actually have one filmed already so I’m just waiting to edit it and upload! I’m going to try to get to that soon!! It took me a while because my filming setup was AWFUL for the longest time. I could barely see what I was filming lol. But I think I’ve finally gotten things figured out☺️ I’m really excited to see where this channel can go in the future!

@@craftedlove8587 LLOOLL! You are right, I am kinda hype. And when it comes to selling your pieces, I am sure you'll make the right decision as to what platform you'll choose to do so. And like you said, if you do not like it, you can stop it.👍 And like you, I am scared too...but I am going to give it a whirl 😉 I am just taking it step-by-step. But in the long run, my goals are to 1. Do quick live FB bracelet making with one give away. 2. KZbin, 3.Have my own site to sell my creations, and 4.Instagram. I already set-up my IG. I just have to post, "CFB Coming Soon!" (Christina's Favorite Bracelets!") Oh! You just reminded me, my niece, (who is 11yrs old) has her own Esty account/shop. (She makes earrings, bracelets etc) and with the support of her mom (of course) she likes it. I will ask my sister if they have had any major problems with Esty, and pass the info down to you if you like. Ok, I think I typed enough.(lol) Thank you for your encouraging reply. And we await your video! 😁🌹

I had made an Instagram for my jewelry too but I am literally the worst when it comes to posting lol. I really need to get better at it. I can’t wait to hear all the updates with your business! So I’m watching this 7 months later lol. Has anything changed?? If so would you film an updated version!? I love this video. I want that round suitcase looking contraption lol. Final question, do you only buy beads you know you’ll use or are you like me where something is pretty and you can’t resist buying it? I have so many beads I’ve only been doing this for a year and have no idea what to do with half of them lol looking for a new way to shop if that makes sense. Love your videos!
@craftedlove8587

Oh my goodness, yes! So much has changed! I’ve actually been wanting to film an updated video but I’m still in the organizing process… it’s taking forever lol! When I first started I only bought beads that were “within my comfort zone” and beads I knew I’d use, but I’ve gotten out of that and if I see something I really like, I’ll buy it even if I don’t have a project idea in mind ☺️. They accumulate so fast!! Maybe if your struggling with ideas for certain beads you could try searching for things other people have made with them for some inspiration. That really helped me get out of my comfort zone a bit. I’m so excited that we have another jeweler in our community! The more the merrier! Anything specifically that you like to make?

*snorts* Cats! I have 8. It makes beading....interesting...if nothing else. LOL LOVE that first box! I have all my beads (I normally work with 10/0, 11/0, and 8/0 seeds, plus bugles of various sizes) sorted and stored...but all those extras - ear studs (and backs), ear wires, various types of clasps, etc. - are basically in baggies tossed into an empty toolbox. I really need to get those sorted better.

Oh my goodness yes! My cat always tries to “help” me craft 😂 they’re so silly! It’s so easy to just toss stuff around especially if you don’t use it frequently. For me it never fails that once I finally organize everything again, it gets messy pretty soon after lol

@@craftedlove8587 I - thankfully - do have one who doesn't care about "string", but...he's also the one who has actually tried to eat my beads! At least none of the others have done that. Cats are weird. LOL Right now, I have to time my crafting for when most of them are napping. I desperately need a separate craft room - with its own door - soon.

@@mystiquerisingsun844 oh my gosh! I can definitely relate!! My cat first tries to paw at everything but if she manages to get something on the floor she’ll try to eat it. I give you credit! I can’t imagine having 8 cats and trying to plan your crafting time around them. I’m right with you though, I’d absolutely love to have my own craft room. It’s definitely a goal of mine but I know I probably won’t have one for a while. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for both of us! 🤞
