You're the greatest ever to watch, learn from, and laugh with. That's for the enjoyment!

Hilarious! Cracks me up, there are people who preach that you can only use certain brands, period! Oh, Bologna, I say...I like cheap beads, expensive stuff...I mix Czech, Japanese, Walmart...I don't care. Sometimes, they can be different sizes. Czech is smaller than Toho, as is Miyuki...but that can be compensated for by adding more or less in the weave... Do love ya...

TCBeads: I was all "Huh? Bead segregation? What is that? What does it mean? o.O" when I saw your video title in my feed. You made me laugh so hard when you started to segregate the beads. I agree with you. I have no idea why one shouldn't be able to mix the different bead brands. If they fit together and one can make something beautiful out of it like your spiral, isn't that what counts? Great video. Loved it!

I think it depends on what you want your beaded piece to look like, what exactly you are making, colors, etc. Some readers out there are so obsessive about beads, it's disgusting. Sometimes using different styles of beads produces something really interesting and beautiful. I do separate my beads when I get them, but a bead soup mix needs lots of different styles of beads. Any way, everyone is different; that's what makes the world go 'round. Do what you want to do; I do and I know you do. Love your videos.

Wow, I mix my beads all the time, guess we are in trouble. You and Sara were the first tutorials that I watched in beading years ago and still do watch for you and Sara all the time. Take care, I enjoy your videos. Take care x0x0

You make me laugh. You're the most entertaining videographer out there and very talented, also. Go girl!

I help at a local bead shop and have noticed that a lot of the Toho and Miyuki colors are very similar like almost identical. They are almost the a same size. My take on mixing is that of colors.

lol I love your wall around the brown beads..."can't go over there" hahaha beaders version of a political statement, love it and your videos. thank you for all of them
@Dennissiple8 жыл бұрын
Wow - that first part was such an incredibly political statement, given the current state of things. That said, I love the twisty piece with all of the integrated beads. Cellini, or something like that. And I mix all the time! I do enjoy sorting them, though. Very therapeutic. And then I put them back together so I have a proper "bead soup," as a friend calls it.

Why would anyone criticize mixing beads? Thanks for highlighting the ridiculousness of such criticism. How boring life would be if we beaders adhered to a bead segregation standard!

I honestly don't know how wonky a patterned piece would turn out if you mixed Treasures and Delicas together. It just hasn't been my experience.

You are so adorable!!! Thanks for the giggle!!! Love that cellini piece... you should make it into a bracelet or necklace or maybe a purse handle? LOL.... thanks again for the great giggle... I needed it!! Hugs!

I wish we could find out what happened to Teresa. I watched the video published in April. She said she was having panic attacks. Makes me wonder if she didn't know it but had maybe heart problems. I am just sick about it. She lost her daughter in October 2015. She always tried to make everyone else laugh. Man, I am so sick over it.

Maybe you can get the manufacturer of those brown beads to pay for the wall--Love it!

Lol. This made me laugh. I mix them all the time. But I have started to realise that in a few patterns it is best to use what brand the designer is using. And now I got curious who Sarah is. I don't think I follow that channel.

My bad! I thought everyone knew Sara from BeadsFriends.
@mariannel96208 жыл бұрын
I did a little search and found her. I have actually heard of her and seen her videos. There are so many talented designers out there, and I don't know half of them. :)

OMG, you have the same twisted humor that I do. I would have gone broke years ago if I segregated all my beads. I been beading for more than 20 years now and half the time I don't remember when I bought them or if any of them were gifts, etc. I think it is just an EVIL PLOT from all the different manufacturers to make more money from us. The only time I worry about the size of the beads is if I am weaving on a loom and I don't want to screw up the pattern. I worry more about the price or quality of the beads, crystals, findings, etc. if I am making jewelry to sell.
