You are a born teacher. Like someone else said, I rarely have seen such clarity in a tutorial. Now I want to start on a pair of the flag earrings right away.

Aleshia,If you only knew how many of these I have made for family and friends?I love this kind of beading.Let's get back to seed bead projects! I am tired of having to buy a new type of bead, because everything from tutorials to beading magazines are only doing new beads.Please girl, give us some seed bead projects! We all know you have tons of them!!!Thanks
@beadifulnights7 жыл бұрын
I know exactly what you mean, LOL! I am subscribed to two beading magazines and I NEVER EVER make anything in them because they always call for fancy multiple hole beads. They use a lot of them in one design it costs like over $100.00 to make one project, it's totally ridiculous. Just when I start collecting a new two hole bead newer ones come out I see no end in site. I always fall back to seed beads though they are my roots and favorite bead to work with. I am always thinking of new designs I can do with basic beading materials because not everyone is able to get a hold of fancy beads. I myself was not able to get fancy beads for years so I now what it is like. Thank you for the request! P.S. have you seen this tutorial I did, it's a seed beaders dream, LOL! 49:02 Fancy Seed Bead Flowers Bracelet Tutorial

You are a wonderful teacher. I appreciate your very paticent step by step instructions. The share stitch is such a gift versus how I make mine. I LOVE your way!!! THANK YOU!!! 10 thumbs up for sure. However, for the earrings, I think I will do what I see at 1:10 Makes more sense to me for the stripes to be horizontally not vertically, and I will do the stars and the red white and blue stripes only up to 13 beads like you have on the narrow side of it. OR I will leave it as is with all 15 beads across like you have but hang the earring from the first blue bead's corner and go horizontally to the first's row's red bead to make the hanging part. But that's me.

Will this design work with 6/0 seed beads? My 11/0's don't seem to go through my needle and I can't get my thinner needle threaded, so I was wondering about the bigger bead size.
@thecornerofcraft8 жыл бұрын
They will work, but the flag will be larger and you may have to go through the beads a couple of times to reinforce it x
