Love the water horizontal on the beaded cross stitch. Gave the water more texture. Great idea to try to make certain parts of you picture stand out more. TFS

I think it would also be good to frame your mom's work so you can always see it and remember her and your home. Thank you for all your tips and tricks to this craft, I am new to bead cross stitch, and am learning as I go. I do love the Preciosa beads better than the larger plastic beads, also with the canvas I like the more silky material than the aida for the beading in particular. I would like to see how to purchase the beads to make a regular cross stitch pattern to a bead cross stitch pattern if all possible. Your videos have been very helpful to me, so again thank you!

Great video! You are very creative. Beautiful projects! I tried to do the cross stitch kit I got thinking it was a beaded kit; but the squares on the material are so small, I couldn’t see them very well. I’m giving it to my daughter, and I got myself a beaded one that’s a bit bigger and actually printed on the material. Hopefully, I’ll have more luck with this one. It looked like I might actually be able to see the squares on the Ark kit you have; but I don’t have little children and don’ t know anyone who does.

Hello Anna. When you buying your next kit, look for the count number of the canvas. Maybe this will help you not to buy very small stitches

Lovecraftforever I try to see the count; but since I’m not willing to spend a lot on a kit until I know if I like it and can do it, I’m shopping on Amazon and Ali Express. Unfortunately, they rarely give the count. I’m also not sure how the count goes. For instance, is 9 count bigger squares than 14 count or vice versa? Is there actually a count on beaded embroidery?

Your frog is so pretty! You should give yourself a break I love the idea of making the beads horizontal. I also giggled when you called yourself a "smarty pants" for trying the new idea, it reminded me of myself when I try to get too creative but then I don't like the result. Keep going girl, you're doing great 👍

Thank you for posting this mix of a video. I have not looked at books (related to crafts) lately. For cross stitch and beading cross stitch, can you recommend a style of frame (tabletop or floor stand frame) ?. I would prefer to use a square/rectangle shaped frame on beadaed cross stitch, for the reasons you mentioned.

Would it be ok to use polyester sewing machine thread ? The kit I bought from aliexpress came with some white floss but it is too stiff and thick. I would like to use sewing machine thread ( 2 strands of it. ) You think it would be ok ? Thanks for answering in advance ❤🌹❤🌹❤🌹❤
