Thank you for this awesome tutorial. I just finished making this and it is gorgeous. It is strong enough to hold the hair in place and will last because it is structured well. Your design is amazing.

Excellent Tutorial! The combs I bought online came unknotted … beads everywhere. I saved the beads and thanks to you, I’ll be able to re-make it (stronger) your way 💕

Thank you so much for this tutorial. These are the only combs that tame my thick curly hair. I spent much money on 6 and 2 broke. So now I can make 1 in every color so I look super cute this summer. Thank you, great job!

I always wanted to make one of this few years ago, but never found a good tutorial video. This is the one I had been looking for! Thank you for sharing!

Looks like you could use some kind of jig to hold your combs in place . Do you think it’s possible to bead up the elastic in one shot then tack it down onto the comb?

Thank you so much! I had a store bought one that I gave to my daughter when I had my hair cut short. I have since grown my hair out and was wishing I still had it. Now I can make my own. I'm so excited! I also like just the combs beaded so I might make some just like that without the elastic. I think I'll also make some for gifts. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your tutorials. I'm amazed by your creativity!

Okay, I officially love you lol. I bought one of these style of combs the other day and the elastic broke almost immediately. Now I can make one (or 50) of these myself. Really appreciate the tip on which cord to use too.

Hello, I wonder if seed beads can be used instead of bugle beads. Not a bugle bead in the house and am so anxious to do this and I do have so many seed beads for other projects? LORAINE R., ONTARIO CANADA

Thanks so much for these tutorials! And by the way, how do you fix your hair like that? I've only used these kind of combs around a bun!☺️

I never thought of using crimps on elastic. I suffer from the same paranoia you do, and have always been afraid the crimp would cut the elastic.
