Beady Eye's problem was they were going up against Noel's excellent first two albums and they were always going to be unfairly be compared to what he was doing. If they were competing against Noel's more recent mid-life crisis music then I think Beady Eye could have been as successful as Liam's solo career has been over the past 6 or 7 years.
