Decent? She was Liams PA and screwing him while he was married to Nicole. So she was no "lady" either. She's now his manager - AND his girlfriend. Her best friend is his tour manager. And after 5 years of living with the man, she hasn't even bothered to listen to all the songs of the band he was in? She only cares for the money Liam brings in. I was never very interested in Oasis, but I loved Beady Eye. It seemed to me like Rock and Roll disappeared somewhere along Exile on Main Street, but Beady Eye found it again and picked it up and ran with it. My own Rock and Roll ambitions died in the lack of response to Different Gear. It was so close to the sort of album I had always wanted to produce if I had ever been able to put together all the right elements. I praised Beady Eye to any ear I could find, but no one had ever heard of them, and I don't think anyone looked for the album on my recommendation. I had to conclude that the world didn't want to hear Rock and Roll. Everyone was too played out, burnt out, cynical, and dead at heart. I finally tossed out what remained of my old ambitions to play Rock and Roll. It was heart breaking enough for me. If I had actually produced that beautiful album to see it fall away in obscurity unheard, it would have crushed me beyond repair. What is the use in even trying. It was clearly a pure labor of love, and a string of pearls, trampled by swine. I don't know anything of the artist's autobiography. (He may have been reluctant to admit to any reviewer or interviewer that he had high hopes for his polished gem.) There may have been other things going on, but that's how I understand it plain and simple. To produce a great album like that and see it flop, with most people completely unaware of it, is heartbreaking.

Great documentary by the way.....got to be seen.

My question is, who else will be in the band with them ? I predict bonehead , and then the rest of the band will be current members of Noel and Liam’s touring bands. They’ll be no Tony or Paul .

Beady Eye was great. Different Gear, Still Speeding is one of my favourite albums. It's as good as Oasis. Well, in fact, it rocked a lot harder than late Oasis. It was good to see what Liam would do unchained from Noel. (And I'm not dissing Noel. I'm a huge Noel fan. But Beady Eye gave me a higher appreciation of Liam's unique, irreplaceable contribution to Oasis.) Liam's solo success is well-deserved and I am happy for it. But I think Beady Eye was great.

I will never pirate anything with liam Gallagher involved. If his fans don't support him, no one will. Remember he is signed to a major record label now. If he doesn't get the numbers needed, they will be ruthless. No 3rd album, no more tours.

This just shows that Liam needs Noel more than Noel needs Liam

M01535 not at all. They are both great alone but even better together. Without Noel’s songs Liam wouldn’t have made it. Also, without Liam’s voice and charisma Noel wouldn’t have made it. Alan McGhee signed Oasis on the strength of how blown away he was by the look of Liam and his presence as a frontman as much as he was by Noel’s songs. He noticed Liam before he heard him sing. Liam made him take notice of Noel’s songs. They needed each other.

Nice to have the money to bolt somewhere when life gets too much. The rest of us just have to work through it as best we can.
