Exactly! My family’s beagle would walk about half a block and then just refuse to move. He had to be dragged back home. My mom started bringing a wagon to carry him back home. Beagles aren’t known for their agility.

What an adorable little guy (girl?). I can't for the life of me understand that there are some of these Woke Warriors who consider stuff like this "animal cruelty." (Of course, I likewise can't understand those "animal rights" types who oppose humans owning any sort of animal as a pet, either) But then again, I'm convinced that when one decides to "Get Woke," they have to check their brains at the door.
