Watching the rescues is so much more entertaining and heartwarming than watching the registered purebred agility dogs (which are phenomenal in these competitions) because they are "auditioning" for permanent homes and their antics are so adorable! ❤❤❤❤❤

I love watching the rescues. My pfp is my favorite breed, Big Brown Rescue. He's the happiest person I know and would be just as skilled as these guys. Dunno why but, rescues have more fun just being dogs than any other breed I know. This was great.

All of our many dogs have been rescues, some have been purebred, some mutts, but we never try for one or the other. Our most recent was a puppy (we usually go for adults) that they thought was a mix, but she turns out to be pure border collie. So now I'm thinking about agility.

Those dogs may not have done the course as expected but they were so eager to please and just enjoyed themselves. Hmmm…now I’m thinking of building some sort of obstacle course for my beloved pittie but she just loves to laze around.😂

This is probably what my 3 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi would do! I've been working on getting her to focus and she's doing better. She knows all the obstacles. I've a wonderful trainer who has worked with her own dog with reactive behaviors. Gucci's very smart and loves training. She's food motivated, plus she has a high prey drive. I don't think that we'll ever compete. This training is just for fun.

Oh, this makes my heart glad! My dog is a rescue and can run like that Romanian rescue 'Murphy'. I have to let her just run it out sometimes, she doesn't take direction well and is strong as an ox. I would live to find a course like this to let her run in !!

My rescue pup (best guess Maltese-Bichon-Poodle) (age 9 mos) has been doing agility training (well, she and I have). No matter if it is our trainer or me on the course with her, she always must do zoomies first. Round and round, picking and choosing what she wants to do. She is an absolute joy.
