We're riding spinners... Migrating east to the Inland Empire, Beagle nollie tailslides the Citrus College 9 stair rail in Glendora, CA. The following weekend, Beagle, never satisfied, returns to Cirtus College in a TSA Clothing sweatsuit. The beginning of a long Switch Crookaholic career, Beagle rides away in the clutch. i love this part of tape especially.04:18 Beagle filmed it in such a way that every time a trick is landed, I find myself yelling 'Yeeeeeah!' when a trick is successfully done on screen. Honestly, I don’t know about you, but we’re reaching a point where we’re kind of going in circles with everything-internet, music, sports, movies. It’s hard to find something new and original. For skate videos, I think filming the attempts-the 20, 30, or even 40 tries before landing the trick-is innovative in a way, because it’s never really been shown in videos. We usually just see the successful sequences. In the end, spending 10 or 15 minutes watching someone try to land a trick gives us almost the same joy when they finally succeed. It could be a new genre of video, I think! 01:08 a perfect example that proves speed is crucial in skating, and you’re less likely to get hurt if you go fast on a gap than if you go slow. A pro skater once gave me this lesson: 'Go for it if you want to jump down a set of stairs. Just go for it-if you mess up, at least you won’t land on the stairs.
