I love these fellas! It's great how they don't hide the suck, and still show how much fun hard work can bring!

Great video. It's good that you're showing the true nature of the difficulty of the trip, both the beauty and beast. Some adventure videos sugar-coat the experience, neglecting to share the difficulties of abandoned trails, the effects of heat and bugs, and the physical toll it can take. I felt your pain through the shallow paddling - we hit our own shallow paddling through Mud Lake last summer. Between the drop in water this summer, and the natural mud bottom, it was an interesting challenge. I think my adventure partner has been permanently scarred... Can't wait for episode 3!!!
@JimBairdAdventurer6 жыл бұрын
Haha, great that you can appreciate it. It's a lot harder to capture the hard parts but often they're some of the most interesting. Thanks for the comment, oh and also this is actually Ep 3 in case you missed 2
@TheRealTedBaird6 жыл бұрын
Haha colatteral damage. The hard parts end up being fun after the fact anyway and they keeps the lakes full of fish and you get the place to yourself

Another great vid. I always think your previous videos had the toughest slogs but you seem to manage to top it with grueling bushwacking. Loved the rainbow reward at the end, how amazing was that?

Great episode Gentleman! I am enjoying the typically Temagami tough portages, and the incredible Temagami beauty. It looks as though we have some work to do. Interested in doing the route again next summer with cool folk and chainsaws?
@TheRealTedBaird6 жыл бұрын
Thx PJ..... Huuuummmmm most of the portages were ok but there were def a few that were in rough shape.....considering no one goes this route maybe it's ok. So many other routes I'd wanna try before going back the same way again..but maybe we should reopen that old farm while were at it lol!

So I really like your videos. Just found your channel and binged through the Yukon series. One thing Im wondering though, why all the gear? It looks insane. Ive done 14 days trips before and am gonna padle 14 days this summer. I got a 90L portage pack and a 20L bowbag + fishing rods and camera gear. It looks like you guys got easily twice as much, if not more gear on this trip. No wonder portaging is a hell 😂 anyways, love your videos 💥
@kevinharding20995 жыл бұрын
Wow! You took way too much gear. I guess you don’t like Kevlar canoes.
