For bizarre moments: So the school I used to go to has an old air raid siren, that sits on the edge of the property. Now I have taken many videos showing it in the past 3 years, the wires have been cut years ago, but one night, I could have sworn it had been sounding, even though I knew it was cut off. Another strange siren experience was during my spring break, when we were out at a birthday party. When I got there, it was sunny and warm out, but a few minutes later, it starts to rain. Then I hear a strange siren that sounded like it was rotating very far away, I asked someone there, “Is this area known for tornados?” They said no. The siren kept on sounding, and the sky started turning a weird greenish gray color, then poof, a million tornado warnings on everybody’s phones. Most of us hurried into the basement, but some of the people stayed up… Thankfully we didn’t get hit by the tornado, but it was strange, considering that the nearest fire station had no siren, and on the local siren map… Nothing. Sadly I didn’t get a video of either…

The idea that a video game can be addicting is actually physiologically true. Success and failures and scares in video games stimulate the players production of endorphins and adrenalin. These are natural, but they are stimulants none the less. A person can become accustomed to the raised levels of these stimulants and experience physical withdrawals if the levels are reduced by turning off the game(s). A person can not only become psychologically consumed by the game play but can literally become chemically addicted to it, as well.

In 2014, a player known as "Soreike" in the online game Eve Online led a group of players in an elaborate scheme to steal virtual assets worth over $11,000. Soreike's group infiltrated an alliance known as "Somerset Mahm" and gained their trust by pretending to be friendly and helpful players. Over the course of several months, Soreike and his accomplices worked their way up the ranks of Somerset Mahm and gained access to their valuable assets. They then staged an elaborate attack on the alliance's headquarters, causing chaos and confusion, and stole everything of value. The theft made headlines in the gaming world and even caught the attention of mainstream media. While the stolen assets were only virtual, they had real-world value, and Soreike and his group were able to sell them for thousands of dollars. The incident highlighted the potential risks of online gaming and the need for players to be vigilant and cautious when interacting with others in virtual worlds. It also demonstrated the creativity and resourcefulness of gamers in pursuing their goals, even if those goals involve virtual assets.
