Considering people who are albino lack pigment and the man in the photo seems to have brown hair, it definitely could be a possibility that it was Michael. Similarities are also there seeing the side-by-side comparison.

I just find it very hard to believe that a group of people specifically looking for Michael Rockefeller would see one white guy in the tribe that happens to look a lot like him and not be the least bit suspicious that it was him. That looked like Rockefeller to me but I'm not sure. However, one thing I am positive of is that it was NOT an Albino person. The skin tone and hair colour are not those of someone with Albinism. That was definitely a Caucasian male.

Sadly for Michael Rockerfeller, his fate has been pretty conclusively settled. You see, he wasn't actually liked very much by the locals because of his habit of plundering the sacred artifacts of the tribe and upsetting their dead ancestors. So, when they found him, rescue was not exactly on their minds. Inevitably they took their revenge in the best way they knew how. Let's just say that he made a significant contribution to the local tribe's daily nutritional intake. These guys took the phrase "eat the rich" very literally indeed. Still, on a positive note, they didn't waste much of him. This revelation is from the mouths of the tribal elders themselves, so I'd say it was pretty conclusive.
