Well, I fell in love with this girl online. She was single, and she had a LOT in common with me. Unfortunately, her parents made her delete her Discord and forbid us from talking in the comments of her KZbin channel. She had claimed that both of her parents didn't like me, and thought I was gonna kidnap her. However, when I talked to her mom, her mom wasn't mean like I thought she'd be. In fact, she was rather nice. My girlfriend's dad didn't friend me until much later, making me think HE was the bad parent. However, neither my girlfriend's mom or dad were mean to me. As for my girlfriend claiming her parents hating me, both her parents said that was never the case. They said my girlfriend simply misunderstood what they said. Making her delete Discord and prohibiting us from talking in the comments was because they wanted to keep her safe from people other than me. Why I fell in love with her is because she visited another channel without me insisting. She was very kind to me. She happened to need a boyfriend all along, actually.

Another act of good karma I had in my life is when I helped an old man. He leaned on me, and we were at a Keystone Greyhound conference. Then, the old man offered to buy something for me. I looked around, and chose this stuffed bunny that was partly brown, partly white. I still have the stuffed bunny today.
@AutismTakesOn4 жыл бұрын
To clarify with me and my girlfriend, she wanted a boyfriend but she didn't wanna force love on anyone. Also, what her dad said to her was "Not all people online are who they say they are". While my girlfriend thought that included me, her dad meant that I was who I claimed to be, but others might not.

The homeless in Preston tend to be pretty nice and mostly keep to themselves, most have just fallen on hard times. I know a lot of the tropes about homeless people being drug addicts are flung around, but they are still decent people for the most part. (I grew up in preston.. don't like it as a town, but it's interesting enough)

Yes inspite of knowing all the stereotypes people have for the homeless, he went ahead and helped the girl who otherwise could've been scared being alone and he must've known how bad the place is. Good people are found in all places. It's just a matter of luck that we find them like gold.

I love how Bikers are usually seen as the bad guys on cartoons, but in real life they have a bigger heart than most humans today.
@roseabee7503 Жыл бұрын
I work in a vet clinic. I will never forget the day a biker came in. He was over 6 1/2 feet tall at the very least and had to be upwards of a healthy 350 pounds, decked head to toe with leather, tattoos and had an old scar on his cheek. His hands were balled together over something like it was made of delicate crystal and upon opening his hands, he revealed the tiniest little white newborn kitten that was soaking wet and mewling pitifully. In the tiniest little anxious voice I have ever heard come from a man of his stature he said "I found this little baby being washed away by the gutter and I wanna make sure he's okay. I don't know how to feed it." He was so anxious about the baby, I asked my boss if we could bring him to the back to watch us examine the baby which he obliged. The biker was tall enough he could just peer over us as we worked on the kitten, taking the generic tests first and making sure he was healthy. Other thank being a little underweight and cold, the baby was healthy. It was close to my lunch break, so I went with the biker next door to the family dollar that was across the street and helped him pick out things and essentials he needed for the kitten and then went back to the clinic to show him how to properly feed the baby, how much and when as well as how he needed to stimulate the kitten to poop. When I say this man who looked like he could happily bench-press a grizzly was so adamant on taking care of this tiny kitten, you would have thought his own life depended on it. The kitten grew and thrived and he kept the baby, naming her Harley as a little bit of a joke as his last name was Davidson and of course he was a biker lol. He still comes to the clinic yearly for her checkups and she complains like a spoiled princess but tolerates the examinations, but she's happiest perched on his shoulder, purring like a motor.

This is a small good deed that happened once when I was a kid. I was 12 years old and finishing my rounds of trick or treating. When I saw a small toddler who had fallen and spilled his candy down a street drain. I had a half a pillowcase of candy so I generously gave him some of mine. Then as luck would have it when I was walking back to the car with my parents a man came out of his house with a king size Hershey bar. He then gave it to me because he forgot his daughter didn't like chocolate. I was happy and thanked the man. That was the best time I got good karma

For me Karma pays me back with that feeling that I did something truly selfless for a fellow human being. That's all the payment I need. That small high can and has multiple times in the past gotten me through a rough day. That isn't to say Karma never remembered me. I've had several good things happen to me because I paid alittle kindness forward.

I had some good karma one time When I was in Ireland because it was vacation here in the Netherlands, I was at a ice cream store and as my child self , I put some money in the tip box at the ice cream store . I , after leaving noticed my phone was gone, ran back with my dad to the ice cream store. Only to find the ice cream owner waiting outside even if it was closing time . So I got my phone back and that was that. I don’t think that was good karma, since I didn’t know what I was doing at the time but at least I was kind of a smart kid to donate some money ;-; Ok tbh I’m still a kid but just older XD
@AnyoneCanSee4 жыл бұрын
That is karma. If you do something good in the hope of getting something in return it isn't karma. So giving money to a good cause (or doing a good deed) and then having something good happen to you is the definition of karma. Karma is an ancient religious belief going back thousands of years and they believe that if you do good things in life then that good will be returned to you in some way. Like the universe rewarding you. You positive deeds in life create positivity for you.

I'm a cat behaviorist. I have spent most of my adult life helping kitties that have a hard time finding homes because of behavior or emotional problems. Therefore it's not uncommon for my friends and the rescue groups i work with to ask me to help with specific cats. In November of 2019, my friend brought over a 4 month old kitten that she found in a abandon building by her home. Since our local shelter had not officially become No Kill, we agreed to foster the little one ourselves. We named her Smokey Way. Both of us are on a tight budget but we came up with the money to fully vet the sweet little girl and get her ready for adoption. Unfortunately after 3 months of adoption events and posts online, Smokey Way had yet to find her forever home. I felt so bad for her as kittens usually find homes quicky. Then tragedy struck our family on February 17, 2020 when our 2 yr old daughter was hit by a truck. After being hit in the back, slammed to the road and lay under a GMC Yukon, a true miracle happened she was unharmed except for a few scraps and bruises. But the accident had caused bad nightmares. Smokey Way stepped in and stayed with her for the next 2 weeks so she could sleep without awful bad dreams. We immediately adopted her ourselves. She definitely saves us more than we did her.

I heard a story that an old couple was in their room watching TV and suddenly cops and paramedics came in the house although they didn't call 911 and were confused. Later it turned out their son (I can't remember his name but I'll call him Andrew) was having a seizure but the person who called the cops was his friend he met in an online game (I'll also call his friend Jake). When Andrew was playing an online game, he met Jake a few years ago and Andrew noticed that Jake was struggling with the game, so Andrew helps Jake with with the problems Jake was having and now the problems have been resolved and once they finished, they became friends. Later in 2019 when they were online, Andrew suddenly had a seizure, Jake heard noises he didn't recognize and Jake was asking "What was that sound?" but Andrew didn't answer, so Jake asked "Andrew what was that sound?" Andrew still didn't answer, so Jake then asked "Andrew, is everything okay" still no answer from Andrew so Jake got suspicious and since Jake was from England, he knows somethings from Texas where Andrew lives and also the emergency number, so Jake dials 911 and tells the operators that his friend is having a seizure but he does know the address to his house and tells the operators the address. Later, the cops and paramedics come in to Andrew's house and his parents were confused to why the cops came in but they see Andrew on the ground having a seizure. The cops then told Andrew's parents they received a call from England that a their friend was having a seizure in Texas and gave us the address, then Andrew's parents found out his friend Jake was the one who called 911 and saved Andrew's life. From helping with tasks to saving a life.

Back in 2018, my ex-husband, our daughter and I went to a concert. My ex drove 350 miles to us to pick us up, then we drove 150 miles the next day to the concert. After the concert, he had realized he'd lost his wallet. We spent over an hour looking for it and triple checking with lost and found, to no avail. We finally went back to the room and decided we'd deal with it in the morning. At about 4 in the morning, he got a call from the man who had found it. He took it home for safety, not trusting lost and found. He somehow tracked down my former mother in law, who contacted my ex. Luckily, the man who found it was on the way back to my house, the opposite direction of my ex's direction, but since he was taking us back home, we were able to stop on the way and get it back. It was a really nice gesture. We couldn't have been happier.

@@dominantking6663 oh, no.. It's fine.. Kind of a weird story that worked out perfectly, actually. We weren't a good couple.. Horrible couple, to be honest, but we are good friends. We had decided our relationship was over, about 10 years ago.. He'd known someone I went to school with for about 9 years, and admitted he'd always had a crush on her. Around the same time, I met his best friend from high school. Long story short, he's been married to my school friend for about 5 years, together for 9 and I have been with his best friend for 9 years and we are now engaged. So, as weird as it sounds, we acted as stepping stones for those we were truly meant to be with. Going to the concert and having the time of our lives, so many years later, proves we made the right move, I think. 😊 P.S. He gave us a ride because my car is unreliable, so I paid for all the tickets (his birthday present from me, a concert with his daughter) and gas. Win, win. And, he was able to get his wallet back. 😊

This was 2 years ago, I was living with my mom at the time, I was on my way to work (Burger King) I had an hour to spare since I made it early. My mom txted me saying my sister needed medicine so I walked literally in front of a Publix to her some medicine and grab some lunch, once I got everything I needed I realize my card wasn’t going through after not having enough funds in my card. However a homeless man named Larry (i knew him for 8years since I moved into the small town) heard what happened and pulled out a $100 bill (money he’s been saying up from spare change.) and paid for my things and said “bless you today for helping me everyday mama” (since I worked in Burger King we let him sit In the lobby and give him food that pple didn’t touch or want. Or fresh food cooked as well. Once I walked back to work I come in and my manager tells me I’ve been promoted! I felt good and happy Bc I feel that Larry is a good person.
@viviamduenas51124 жыл бұрын
Sadly in the beginning of 2020 some idiot ran over Larry as a hit Nd run, and now that pple who knew him pitched in to give him a proper burial, and there was a bench that Larry always sat Nd slept on, the kids from my school Nd town wrote his name on the bench in loving memory of Larry, he always helped everyone knowing he needs help, ❤️

May tell you how the small voice you hear blessed me not once but twice. In 2011, the small voice said to walk down a certain aisle, then to a certain checkout, and told me to look down. There money was on the floor, I picked it up and asked the cashier did anyone say they lost their money, he said no. I went back home, counted it & it was $60, 2 $20s & 4 $5s. This year, Saturday before Mother's Day, going to my favorite Chinese takeout, the voice told me again to look down & there was a $10 bill!! I just had to share these 2 stories. Also KZbinrs, if you know of anyone looking for a Senior Network Engineer, in Chicago, please give them my name, thank you.

LOVED ALL THESE! I sympathized heavily with the ring one, my high school class ring, my trumpet and a few other things got pawned by a college roommate when I had to move out during the recession in 2009. Wasn’t able to go back up there and get them in time so legally my stuff belonged to him since I was forced to break the lease. But, life happens! I've had good karma before. Once I was coming home from school and I came across a dog that was a stray that was bleeding so I brought it home and helped it back to health then gave it an owner. 2 weeks later, I was having a walk and passed out,when I woke up in the hospital they said that the dog that I saved saw that I had passed out and got the attention of their new owner and helped me like I helped the dog. This happened two times in the same day. I was helping clean up at my mother's new restaurant when we were done, the place was looking amazing, then I found a old coin box behind the counter. When I was looking for some coins to play with, I found a dollar coin inside the bucket. Then, when we got home, my mom looked really stressed but the dog really needed to go pee. So I helped my mom out and took the dog out. While playing the grass, I found a half dollar coin in the grass. Man, two in one day!

The day my great grandma died, I still had to go to work, and I tried not to let my emotions affect how I interacted with customers, and one lady came through the line with really interesting sunglasses that I thought looked pretty, so I said so. She thanked me and briefly mentioned she had a second pair, and after she checked out she asked the name of the store. It confused me at first, but I told her and she left. About an hour later, she comes running into the store and holds out her hand to me. She had gone home and brought me the second pair of sunglasses and gave them to me and left. I cried afterwards, she doesn't know how much better she made my day

I have a tale of good karma. It might not be much but as my father says is a primary example of kindness brings kindness. On one cold evening on December 23rd 2022 me and my dad went to a McAlister's deli for dinner in the mood for their famous spuds. Unfortunately one of the employees who happened to be the manager working said it would be a 15 minute wait for them to come out. Me and my Dad said it was fine as we usually eat our sandwiches first anyways as they took ten minutes this time. The man working behind the counter offered us a discount by letting us have the spuds (their baked potatoes) for free as thanks to our patience and my dad tipped generously. Before that they even handed us cookies to snack on while we were waiting for free. Along with our sandwiches the manager even brought up a carrot cake for free. After words in some talking I wanted some more pickles and the same man again being the manager came up bringing ten whole pickle spears. I was touched despite the place going through back up on the spuds. With my money, I gave another ten dollar tip not to the tip jar but to the manager who served us as thanks for serving us. After we got boxes the manager that was kind to us also gave us two VIP cards for their restaurant as thanks for being so kind. Despite the back up my dad and I ate like kings and left happily after wishing the manager a merry Christmas.
