Man alex you are a proper pilot! i couldnt do less then 1;50 with my hillbuster due to the turbo lag, i mean its a bi-turbo and they are huge but when it kicks in its awesome, imagine the sensations inside of this in real life! and the black widow man what a car!! doing these kind of times with this low power engine is truly a testament to rcbox greats builds!
@TheExtraMile2 жыл бұрын
Haha it´s funny that you mention that, I was thinking about how wild this would be in real life with that engine! And yeah I was kind of confused about the car at first, because it "only" made 350KW, but man, it made a LOT out of that power!

@@kikilafrite09 Gotcha Smokey, there you have again such a nasty beast on the track, unbelievable. Now it is really time to change from the puppies to the young dogs. I think your Hill Buster can park on the hood of my next competitor, might generate a little more downforce. ;-)

@@kikilafrite09 Hmm, was about to take a picture with the Buster on the hood, but the little guy is much bigger than I thought. Or my fat one is even so fat! 🤔 Anyway I look forward to the coming secrets from you!

Big THANK YOU to Smokey and RCBox for sending me their amazing creations! These two cars couldn´t have been more different in character, while delivering similar performance. This weekend I will be livestreaming again with these games: Saturday, August 13th, starting at 10 am german time: Spiderman Remastered PC (

Nicely done that first car looked really great thought it was gonna go top for sure. Gonna work on my handling tonight for a while see if can get it cornering properly and braking bit better.

Another fantastic video Alex - but I can't help but wonder now if HumbleGeorge's chief mechanic Squonkie, could beat these "amateur's" if he had a go of this automation software, hahahaha

Haha I have been wondering the same Michael!! I bet Squonkie and George could make some very interesting designs in Automation!!

Awesome what you've delivered there! I think it's incredible how you get these different vehicle types manageable for you in just five rounds. It's nice to see how you manage the corner exit with the hill buster and the clutch. With the widow, you have to get the corner entry right, otherwise it goes wrong. You can see it nicely in the fast left-hand bend, it really does go full, but only when you're on the racing line. Half a meter too far to the right or left and you're out. Thanks for the show Bro I have to watch the video again, but this time with focus on you, you can see how you fully concentrate on the two monster puppies. Ingenious! Probably now we can move on to the adults, what do you think Smokey, is Alex ready for this? ;-)))

"With the widow, you have to get the corner entry right, otherwise it goes wrong." You are definitely right about that RC!! I learned that you have to see the complete corner as one fluid process with the Widowmaker, otherwise it will go wrong. The cool thing about that is how rewarding the car is to drive. You can feel it going through the corners so much quicker when you start to adapt to what the car wants and not the other way around. I am once again amazed by the intricate details that the automation cars and beam provides in terms of the handling! Also wait, there is more?? I am ready!!! :)
@rcbox98202 жыл бұрын
@@TheExtraMile yes, exactly, i am thrilled how automation can simulate and also export the technological differences and advances. The Widow is from 1985 and drives the same, the successor I'm designing is from 2005 and is much easier to tune and drive. A racedriver once told me during a track day that there is nothing better for him than to become one with his old race car, to go to the track and there to turn a harmonious flowing lap. And yes, there are some candidates of me for the front places. How about we try the counterpart to the light boxer a fat thick Yank V8?
@TheExtraMile2 жыл бұрын
@@rcbox9820 Oh yeah I like that idea! A typical David vs Goliath scenario! Would love to give that a shot :) And btw, I totally get what that racedriver was talking about. There is a certain, hmm balance or feel that older cars have that new ones just simply filter away to make the cars more approachable at the limit. Completely understandable from a safety standpoint but some of the pure essence of driving is lost.
@rcbox98202 жыл бұрын
@@TheExtraMile Goliath is ready when you are. You can find it as Hellfire among the racing vehicles on Beamation. The vehicle is about twice as heavy, but twice as powerful from an engine twice as big as the Widow. P.S. my tip for SCUM: don't break into other people's houses ;-)
