Lmao why are GTA fans suddenly storm this BeamNG video? Actually, this, my friend, is already a game, not just a project made by this guy. It's most certainly not being "sold" to Rockstar. And there's a lot more maps n cars n everything in it. But the whole point is, Rockstar games made SOME SEMBLANCE of crash physics in GTA V. Now BeamNG in contrast, is the VERY DEFINITION of a car crash physics simulator. You could go ahead and say it's a realistic driving simulator, but good crash physics are extremely rare in games, and there is no other game that has this good softbody crash physics, other than an earlier project called Rigs of Rods, made by the same dev as Beam. On the other hand, I do agree that Rockstar and the BeamNG devs should cooperate to make a GTA sequel that has this level of realism in car (and plane) physics. I mean, Beam is a car sim, but planes work sorta well in it too. They're a lot more realistic than GTA planes at least, but I guess DCS or Sturmovik devs would make a better job making the aircraft function properly, so we could add those flightsim devs to the mix as well. lol Of course such a project is not for everyone. Being so realistic, it'd be waaay harder to play. And after all, if it's so realistic, why not throw human healthbars out of the window too, and have em die from one bullet to the chest after being incapacitated for minutes. Now that criminal sim of sorts, would be kinda educative. It'd show how much it can actually suck to be a criminal, I guess.
