BeamNG is now a proper rally game?!

Hey I'm the guy who made the mod. This is awesome, thanks for playing through my perversely long stages! I'll fix up those annoying bugs and no meshes ASAP. As you noticed, these rallies are really long and hard to test, so I've been relying on players to find mistakes. And maybe add I'll add a few more signage on the small island rally, it can be tough to know where's you're supposed to go if you miss a pacenote. Also, good job on surviving for so long on that italian stage, it's one of the most murderous, and the mixed tarmac/gravel does not help at all. I love how you went down a ravine because you missed a "caution". I recommend you try out the jungle special stage if you want to make sure you won't make it to the end. It's basically like one of the hardest rally Kenya stages in bad weather conditions. Please let me know if you find any other bugs!

Haven't tried the mod yet (hope to in the morning) but I do have a quick suggestion regarding the pace notes from what I heard in the video. The "30m" call outs seem a bit short to really be included in the notes, as they tend to make things sound really busy in the complex sections (read Italy at around the 5:00 mark). For the future, when you find the chance, try to slim down the number of notes in the busier sections to allow for clearer understanding. Using that same section as an example, you could have probably cut most of those distance calls and it would have still been clear and concise. Regardless, this is what I've been looking for in Beam! I'm going to be grabbing the experimental version and thrashing Pikes Peak tomorrow!

@@Enderdragon91 you can change the settings to call whatever distance you want and exclude the ones you dont want. you need to find the settings text file in the mod folder. i have a tutorial on my channel but its for an older version and the files have changed now.

Imo it's the best allround sim, from drifting to crashing to high-speed races. It can do it all and also really really well!

I don't think it's possible because of rbr. rsf rbr is just perfect, the physics and force feedback is very perfect, graphics is good enough especially in vr. Only thing lacking in rbr is rain effects and night rally.

@@cognitonito2695 i use rbr pro and it has rain and night and fog. and way better codrivers than rsf... but you cannot compare physics. beam is just on another level, no other sim simulates every single part of the car.

Oh for learning something about the callouts. The numbers like 50, 100 and 200 is rough distances between corner. So if u here 20 its probably close and if u here 250 you can probably go flatout for a little bit

the number are not actually gears but they are based on the angle of the turn. usually it also corresponds to the gear bit that depends on the car also...

I've spent a fair bit of time in Richard Burns Rally and beamng is definitely slower but can be equally as terrifying. The offroad in trucks on sandy courses is brutally difficult and RBR doesn't have stuff like that.

I have hundreds of hours in Dirt Rally. This sounds awesome, and I've always wished for Beam's level of damage in a rally game. Why not put the rally into BeamNG? :D Downloading the mod straightaway!

This is great, but personally I prefer short, sweet courses like BAJARAMA, because I can learn those by heart, which vastly increases immersion and satisfaction. So please also create a short version (ie. Special Stage) of this course.
