Wrong concept of support & mid , its entirely same beam but extra bars will be at (bottom)tension side in mid span due to max. bending moment , and extra bent up bars at end supports (upper side) due to max. shear stress at the ends of the beam. #thanksforvideos

Section at mid means center span of two column support.....at support on top of beam reinforcement provision is more due to more shear....and midspan bending moment is more and bottom fibres of beam is under tension due to load over the beam.as we all know concrete is weak in tension so to counter tension created at bottom of the beam and high bending moment at the mid span reinforcement provision is more at the bottom of the beam compared to top of beam

Nice effort dear but please note that I am sorry to say that beam sections are wrongly explained in this video.... Support/Mid section given in drawing for any beam section is actually belongs to one span irrespective of the location of that beam...

Example section B1 Bottom throughout 3-dia 20 and 2-dia 20 bottom additional in mid of span....Bottom additional will be L/8 from both side column face Top throughout 3-dia 20 and 3-dia 20 is top additional at support mean on columns...top additional will L/3 on both sides of the column

sir , u tell us at support and at mid. but i think this is in one single beam design where at support means crank bar goes up and at mid goes down not support or any type of secondary beam.

1 inch = 25.4 mm..so 3/4 inch = 20
