I love vegetables and plenty of them too but not a fan of beans, cannot eat them all all, so I would just stick with the other ingredients. Hi Alan. You are allergic to beans or you just don't like them? We love it...not for everyday but time to time. Mostly in the winter time. Yes, we can say no one left hungry that day and unhappy because all prepared bean stew was for free. I worked as a cook for 20 years, I could discuss food for hours 😂. In the Czech Republic and Austria, but here in Slovakia, I mostly worked with Italians. You're right, Zac, the base for bean goulash or soup is similar everywhere in the EU. In Slovakia, we cook smoked ribs and knee with sausage, and then we cook beans in that broth. separately fry the onion, carrot, parsley, celery, finally fry the garlic and then add the tomato puree, sweet pepper and then add to the beans and cook. Busy week. 😂😂 Yes, that day it was ecological disaster in this area, the nature and wildlife suffered greatly. 😂😂 It was a really funny event and yes, this event is organized by the local community so mostly local cultural societies and bands.
