It actually is faster! You do 4 rows at a time instead of one 😂 I tried and it took me less than 2 hours to complete (I had never tried hand knitting and I am really slow with normal knitting! 😅 )

Thank you so much for this tutorial. Knitting/Crocheting in general is super hard for me, but this tutorial is so easy to follow! I used a semi thick, but thinner yarn and it’s super thick and cozy. Currently in the process of closing the top of the beanie. It’s going to be a gift for my husband! Can’t wait to make many more.

OMG I made this and it turned out perfect, I made one for my little baby cousin and now I'm making one for my brother and I'm just 13!! This was my second time trying cause first when I made it , I was pulling the strings way too tight to it turned out flat rather than 'tube like', so if anyone having the same problem, just open the whole thing and start over but this time make it loose , hope I helped💞

Thank you so much for this video! I love how you wrote out everything you did so that it was super clear. I watched your video and ended up making two hats. The first hat came out looking exactly like yours. But after reviewing the video, I saw that when you started the second row you hooked into the inner loop on the ridge instead of the outer. So I tried that when I made the second hat. It came out different haha but still very nice. Instead of the braid looking ridge going around from the top, it came out as a single line that looks twisted. I wish I could add pics. Thanks again!

When connecting the pieces you might accidentally twisted it I did the same thing. Next time just make sure that you have the little string on the top when doing the next chain!

Eeeeeek thank you! The yarn I used was too thin so I made a scarf using thing technique. For Christmas, I’m going to send a bunch of hand-knitted scarves along with cards to a nursing home because I know there are a lot of people there who don’t get any gifts or messages from their family for Christmas or they unfortunately don’t have a family. Omg I love this video! The first time I tried making the hat, I got a little impatient and tried doing it on my own. It ended up being a cute little coaster looking thing because it was so flat lol. ❤ I then tried again, skipping through the video a bit, and then went off from there! I ended up making the cutest little yellow hat for my cousins 1st birthday. I then just took another piece of blue scrap yarn, and made a *tiny* bow. If your looking for a gift or a snuggly hat for cold winter days, I definitely recommend this video.

What an amazing tutorial! It really helped but if you are wondering there is another way to finger knit. It's basically the same thing but instead you just wrap the working end twice around your fingers instead of going up an down between fingers. I hope I make sense lol😅

Thank you for being a good instructor and sharing this easy Beanie I used a stretchy fabric so the YO was easier but this material is heavy. In the last stiches to close the gap I looped 3 instead of 3 and Wa La No Christmas tree I t came out perfect. My husband wants a sweater But until you have a demonstration if it can be done he will have to settle for a Beanie and slippers. Thanks again I did it in a few hours start to finish.
