Yea, especially that bit about him having the final word on player signings. Although he made it sound like he had the final say, I think he meant it more like that it would be a bit if a back and forth between him and the directors, and a collaborative effort, and they will basically try their best to get him the players he wants. But yea he does get his point across very well with very little ambiguity.

As a Portuguese and a FC Porto supporter, that indeed is the trait I’ve learned to admire the most in Amorim. He’s disarmingly transparent. I’d never seen Press Conferences like his before: he’s totally candid and tackles every point as it is. I believe his complete realism is his secret. Wishing the best for him and glad he left a local rival club! You’ve got yourselves a very unique coach!

Ruben being Ruben...no BS, just saying what he thinks. He is used to "negative media" also in Portugal so do not worry he can handle it in England. The guy is an incredible coach and you will have to give him time, your club needs to develop a lot and you are fighting against other very strong clubs. He did it in Portugal, SportingCP was miles and miles away from SLBenfica or FCPorto and with time he put Sporting not only fighting for the league but playing the best football in the country. You may think I am biased with my opinion but... I am actually a SLBenfica massive fan and I still love this guy! He was a normal player in SLBenfica, extremely versatile and adaptable, but he was an extraordinary coach in Sporting. Best of luck for him in United. Portugal will be watching all your games now! Força Ruben!!!
