Man that sucks. There was a USDA program that provided FREE starter kits for bear fencing. The program is probably still active.

This is one thing i worry about. I dont live in the mountains but we still get bears every spring into summer.

Not having to handle hideous hives/urtacaria, and enjoying healthy, balanced and smooth skin just feels excellent, if you’re not afraid of something different I agree that Shane Zormander’s approach is surely an example that actually works.

I am always struck by how bees will stick with the brood to protect it in these situations. Amazing creatures. Did you find the queen?

We have bears on the Eastside of Cincinnati. Not far from downtown. So far good on westside, but every other year male young bears shows up. I'll need to deal with them in the future.

It’s a shame but atleast the hive might survive

Sorry ! I live in Pa. And bears are no longer just in the mountains ! They love the low farm country. And unlike what is thought they are not after the honey but the larva . I had a 500 + bear here with in a few feat of me. All i could think of was my hives . They like low farm land because food is easy and better . My friend had his rabbit pens tor up and his rabbits killed and eaten.
