Cesar always drops a bit of Sage advice and many miss it. At 13:00 he says, when people are afraid, calm before confident. Well that would be the right way to approach ANY fight/conflict/confrontation with the hubby or bf or gf, or a public speaking experience, a car accident that wasn't your fault. Even these super tense flight attendants who are ready to bark and pounce bc either they are being trained to be assertive or they are like Bear Bear - defensive /assertive/fear-mode. Calm, that CHANGES THE FEAR, then confident. Words to live by. 🙏

Bear Bear has never once received a correction in her life. Once Cesar came in, the dog quickly learned that "no" isn't an option, and every time she tried to take the leadership role, she was shut down, so eventually she tried submitting and learned that was all he wanted.

It is heart breaking when our animals get sick from illnesses. We hang on to them until we accept that our pets are suffering and it is time 'to let them go'. It is the humane way to end their suffering. I hope you get another dog to love; there are so many puppies/dogs that need a home. I'm sorry you had to let him go. You did the right thing.

Your dog has to be on your side or at the back , NOT in front of u.. when u go for dog walking. Always remember that! U hv to be the pack leader, the dog is the follower. Many dog owners dont know this and they dont even want to learn.

I sometimes have a similar issue with my chihuahua when other dogs walk past, so I think I'm going to keep this technique in mind with my dog. BUT.... what about cats? We don't have any cats, though there are some in our local area, and my chihuahua goes barking mad everytime I pass a cat on the street with her. Do I try to attempt the same technique as in this video, or not? Otherwise, normally I just walk on the other side and avoid the cat altogether.
