BEAR CAME to MY TINY LOG CABIN and BROKE the WINDOW | Life in a OFF GRID LOG CABIN

In this video you will see a wild bear come to my tiny log cabin. The last time I was in this cabin was 5 months ago and I set up a camera trap near the cabin. I knew the bear had to come and he finally got caught on the camera trap. The first time a bear came to the log cabin was in May and he passed by. But in July he decided to go into the cabin and he tried to get food from the wooden box. The bear failed to get the food out of the box and he decided to get revenge. He broke the window at the lodge and inside the lodge he broke a mug and made a mess. I stayed in that cabin for 2 nights and I was scared to spend the night alone. I came to this log cabin 10 days later the last time a bear was here

Wow, that is a hard area to camp. The bugs are incredible. The bears looked huge and did not seem to have good personalities. You did a great job cleaning up the cabin. First time watcher and will watching more.

People in Alaska take boards and put nails in it sticking up and lay those boards in front of the door to keep bears from getting in the cabins.

I am worried about your window. The bear broke it last time. You need something stronger than the glass. Also I agree that you should make a doorway with nails sticking up and put it at the door.

The sound of the flies and mosquitos is unbelievable! I don’t know how you can be around them. The fishing and wildlife is one thing but those innumerable flying insects would drive me bonkers!

Wow the flies or nats sure love to be around your cabin, maybe invest in a bug zapper, and I would cover-up your door and window when you leave going forward. I would get a piece of wood and put nails in it to stick out and lay it in front of the door to deter the bear, it won't kill him.

In summer you can't drive away mosquitoes. They like to live in the forest. And the bear is the master of the forest.

If you plant citronella plants around your cabin, it will help to decrease the gnats and mosquitos. Get a bug zapper for inside the cabin and one just outside the front door. Hope these ideas help.

I like this guy, so far I've watched him a few times and he's always so NEAT and thoroughly equipped 🤔👍 I looked it up and found that they construct the small cabin along with the small doors for comfortable heat or cooling circulation plus for a few additional conveniences!! Also I must say that standing next to that cabin with that axe he reminds me of another Woodsmen 💛 aka Lumberjack, Paul Bunyan 😇 except Paul Bunyan had a giant OX and he has a humongous BEAR!! Lol 😨🤣 I could see hIm making that bear a pet lol !! would make a good new fairytale 📖🔖

Good build, but i recommend putting split log shutters on the windows, and split log across the door. It might help keep animals out. Plant Lavandar plants around to help with the bugs LOL and if you got cedar around will help.
