Bear Creek Side Charger a long term torture test (part 1)

Good stuff, I've had 5 of these side chargers. The first was a 16 inch 50 Beowulf, the second and 3rd, 16 inch 450 bushmaster, the 4th a 20 Inch 556 and the last, a 16 inch 556. All have been stupid accurate and have ran like sewin machines. I use them as hunting rigs primary, but did throw one in the truck as a truck gun, and somethin to have in there at all times. Over the past 3 or 4 years they've gained my trust enough to do so.

Subscribed! I own just about every brand of rifle made today. BCA is a fine firearm. I hear arrogant people bad mouth BCA because they run with the rich cool crowd. Reality is, BCA is a fantastic running tool. It works every time we pick it up. Out of well over 5k rounds (High quality rounds) I have never had a FTF or anything. I can't say that about my DD. BCA and PSA make great tools at respectable prices. That's about the most honest way to put it.

I have a BCA15 16-inch heavy barrel, right side charger in 7.62x39. With little tweaking, it is now a very serviceable piece with realistic groups 100 to 300 yard.

Mark I have the same exact set up as my beater AR! Changed the BCG to a Sharp's and it runs flawless! Everything else is the same. The Romeo 5 with the Juliet, and the PSA 3.5 Flat trigger

223 wyld 1:8 shoots heavy stuff well 1:7 shoot 77gn the best but at least with 1:8 you can get decent accuratcy out of 55gn 🤷🏻‍♂️

Well, that was awesome. I love what you are doing here. Just subscribed. I’ve got a couple of BCA side charging uppers. A 16” 7.62x39, cause that is one of the classic rounds in the world, and a 10.5” 300 Blackout for a suppressable home defense gun. Of course the 10.5” upper is now a big question mark. It’s now not on any lower and stowed away, cause… But so far I’m very impressed with the quality and value from BCA. Can’t wait to see what happens when you dig that rifle up. 👍

I purchased one of their uppers in 7.62x39 and had the extractor break. I reached out and it was a hassle to get them to send me a single extractor. Not to mention I had to polish the hell out of the feed ramps and remove the rubber doughnut from the extractor, just to get a round to chamber. BCA can be "good" but when it's bad, it's BAD! Good luck!

Great video! I'm subscribing. Good luck brother. I know what you are going through. I live in California and the gun laws are terrible here. People would tell me "just move. It's a lost cause." I would say "these anti 2A laws won't stop at the border. They will spread." I'm so sorry to see I was right. I have a Grendel upper, 300 Blackout upper and Valkyrie upper from BCA paired with Anderson Manufacturing lowers. No issues with them. I own a 7.62x39 by BCA, thats the entire rifle from them thogh. Runs well.

@@independencearmschannel2170 i put a vortex scope on the valkyrie and 7.62x39. I have them dialed in roughly the same range. Stupid accurate. Scope does make a difference from what I've seen as I've made the mistake of cheaping out on optics

@@ghilliemanreviews the palmetto state nickle boron 2 stage is a fan freekin tastic trigger I have it in 4 of my lowers and it on sale right now $40 normaly $70. If you swap out the reset spring for a bolt drop plunger spring (same size spring lighter weight coil) it drops it to a 2.75- 3 lb trigger

Gas key on my side charger wasn’t staked properly and the rifle would not operate. Sent the BCG back and they sent me a BCG for a standard AR. Sent the entire upper back and they apparently are sending me a new one. I ordered and received a suppressor in the same time frame (Using it on my PSA) If I ever receive the BCA in 5.56 that works, I’ll be happy and surprised.

Check your mags a guy I work with has a 458 and he ground a halfmoon in the front of the mags and it runs like a champ now

The cheapest BCA I bought was pre covid. It was $379.00 free shipping. Complete rifle with mag. 1/8 twist 16 inch 223 W. I run this gun like a dog! It's so cheap I never cared. In 3-4 years I have NEVER had a single issue with it.
