I must've gotten lucky.. I have the same BCA .308 upper and I put it on a PSA gen3 AR-10 lower and they went together nice with zero slop and runs fine.. I used it for deer season this year ...

My new BCA upper didn't quite fit my PSA lower. I filed a bit of material off the bottom of the upper where the radius cut begins. That let it set in flat atop the lower and the pins then fit perfectly. Both were such a great bargain over Memorial day weekend that I knew (as a machinist) I could make this work. I'll refinish that part of the upper after a range test next week.

Picked up a 20" stainless fluted , complete rifle, for under 550. Thank you for the discount. Since I am a veteran, I chose the rear charging, but I add the KM Tactical charging handle, and I will be dropping in a rigger eventually, I plan to break in the barrel, lap it, and see what it will do out to 800.

I've had a PSA AR10 lower that was on sale a while back. A BCA 20 inch heavy barrel stainless upper went on sale and I rolled the dice. They went together without a hitch and has worked just fine.

I used an aero precision lower. All I had to do to the side charging upper was file the flat part of the screw at the back of the upper.

Over Memorial day weekend, I got a PSA PA10 lower for $199 and then the BCA 18" upper for $271. Too good to pass up. Just the minor fitment issue at the bottom of that radius to smooth out. Please don't pound a pin in! That won't work. It was high the rear and would not have cycled as it was. Kissing that radius for a hair more clearance meant the upper and lower mated properly and cycles smoothly.

I personally like the 308 platform. And am a bear fan. They produce good products. However it seem the casings were just clearing the firearm in different directions. Not throwing those casing out well.

I’m a bear fan too and when I got my 15 upper from them I had a problem with it running and had to adjust the gas block straight since it was off to the side. Runs like a champ now

That's what I thought as well, it seem to be one of the biggest problems with alot of their upper, from time to time. When you order from any firearm manufacturer guys it's not a bad idea to take the time to take it down look it over, clean and oil its parts that need oiling. And cheek alinement of gas block or that our barrel nut is tight. And so on guys. Just taking it out of a box then to the range can be dangerous. Growing up my Father as well my grandfather were hunters , this was the number one thing they put into I and my brothers heads. If it goes bang! You buy it, you inspect it, before even thanking about taking it out to shoot it. Then clean and lube it. If then and only then did you go out with that firearm to shoot it. I don't know were this I don't clean or lube my firearm has come from. It's not good for the Weapon nor is it safe. Take the time to look yours over inspect it make the necessary adjustments needed to give you the best time with it and safest you can have . Wow!!! What a rant . I have the BCA10 and i love it yes its a bit heavy but it is well built and works great no issues with zeroing and holding it. The 308 is what i have and it is a great size to have i use it for hunting and is just great got mine under 500 with a discount.

Diamondback Firearms have a specific pattern for ar10s that only work with their lowers and uppers. I bought a complete Aero lower (BCA was out of stock on lowers)and BCA SS side charge upper. Had around $700 into it, to begin with. Couldn't get it to cycle and ended up sending it back. Got it back 2 weeks later with them supposedly firing 10rds with no trouble. Pulled it out of the box and noticed the barrel nut was loose. Gave up on it and 5 months later spent the money and bought an Aero upper and bcg. Still have the BCA lower so I may end up buying their lower and see if it runs or if it's still having issues.

Nice presentation I purchased the BCA 6.5 upper and tried to put it on a PSA lower from my 308. Same result you found. Torn between picking up the upgraded BCA billet lower, or just getting the PSA upper. That upgraded BCA billet lower with the vertical hand grip, rip stock on the butt and Velocity trigger is what I am leaning toward. Trying to decide if the same lower, forged rather than billet, wouldn't work equally well at a 15% savings.

I've been having good groups with Hornity frontier 55 from PSA it takes a WK to get it across the country. The BCA side charging handle,. It's less parts with out the rear charging handle, i suppose no gasses coming out the back in your face can be an advantage.

The buffer plug will hit the lower reciever preventing the rear pin to go in. Remove the plug and see if the pin will work.

If you use one of those adjustment piston buffers and springs along with a adjustable gas block. You could tune that recoil into .556 recoul

I bought the AR 10 from them last week.. The 20" upper, w/ side charger... and the matching lower, and 10 round mag... Cost me $651.00 BUT... they sent everything in one box to my FFL since I put it all in the same order... I have worked the action... It was a little tough to fit... and the mag release is um.. sticky.. But we will see when I start shooting it... Suppressed is my main go to here... We will see. But I am impressed w/ my other BCA side charger barrels...

I couldnt get a 100% definitive answer. So i bought a complete pa10 gen3 lower was 199. 20inch ss upoer 499. So after everything 800 for a complete 20"ss ar10. Now ill order the bearcreek side charge upper in 308. Ill dremel it if need be. If it works great ill order another psa lower.

FYI I bought the PSA PA10 lower to go with a BCA side charging upper and even though the two mate well, it cannot fire reliably at all. It’s horrible. So many different failures. I reached out to BCA and all they responded with was “Good Morning The reason why you upper is not working is because of your lower our BC-10 uppers are only compatible with DPMS GEN1 Low profile Lowers just because it fits on the lower doesn't mean it will function properly”. I’m disappointed because they took the upper back after my very first range visit (10 shots in) resulted in the BCG literally getting stuck on the feed ramp/barrel. It somehow twisted slightly and got stuck. I bought a 5.56 upper from them and that works great. Disappointing customer service and experience with this .308 upper. All I could do is buy their lower, so now I have a PSA lower which I can’t use.

@@Fyoutube444 The other BCA upper I got in 5.56 was great, but the quality is just lacking with the PA10 lower. I ended up having to buy their lower to fit their upper and the coating job on the lower was just horrible and faded really bad. I reached out to see if it was maybe a blem model but they confirmed it wasn’t. It’s almost blue/white/gray but the function of their upper and lower together seems good so I wouldn’t hesitate buying both their upper and lower but I wouldn’t mix and match with other ones that claim to work.

Hey brother i purchase a BCA 20" SS upper and it shoots well ,when it choses to feed. Now im not blaming it on the upper. I purchased a lower from a local gun shop that has their own branded lowers milled. My issue is that it looks as the magazines BCA suggest to use are not coming up far enough for the BCG to feed the next round properly?When i have a miss feed ,which is more times then not. as in almost never. That the round is bullet up barely to the of the barrel and the rear of the round is still either in the mag or on top of it on a 45degree . It really looks as though i need different magazine that will push up deeper into the ,receiever of the rifle? The only other possibilty i can think of is that its an LR upper and n ot an LR lower? Coulld it be there? Help guys?????

PSA. Although I will admit that BCA started off REALLY bad. When they got raided by ICE, their new products have improved a lot. Still kind of a 50/50 deal whether you would get a damn decent one or a lemon. But BCA will happily replace the parts/gun for you should you have a problem. But for overall comfortable brand, PSA is the way to go. If you are on a budget and want to take a gamble, BCA is for you. I personally have not had an issue with any BCA rifles I've gotten a chance to shoot.

The Shoulder Punch from a .308 Makes you feel like more of a Man. HAHA LOL. I was able to shoot one that my firearm instructor that I got my Conceal Carry with had. It was a BCA Upper and it ran Smooth. I cant say much to longer term reliability for what Its worth it was a great experience IMO.

Do we see the guts of this rifle? NOPE! If a .308 semi-auto is DIRECT IMPINGEMENT just forget it. Too much heat in the bolt and gas directed at the shooter, ESPECIALLY when using a suppressor. Sig/Sauer made the US Army's M5 (6.8 x 51) WITH a gas piston for this very reason.

If its chambered in 762×51 you could shoot 308 if its a 308 barrel do not shoot 762. 762 is slightly bigger. Same concept for a 556 you can shoot a 223 in it safely (I wouldn't though) but a 223 barrel you can't safely shoot a 556 again a little bit bigger im talking not naked eye seeable.

BCA Ar10 works fine with any standard LR-308 lower. PSA Ar10 is not standard, it's OEM. I don't know about diamond backs but their specs may be tighter. AR-10 is not the same as the common LR-308
