I love a scandi grind myself, but everybody has their own preferences. Looks like a very good knife, and 52100 is very good stuff for a basic carbon steel. Looks like a good package. I'm a fan of simple. The kiss theory is a real thing, lol.Thanks for showing it to us, and glad to see you back. Been a lil bit.

I own many Saber grinds , White River knives Ursus 45 , Lt Wright Frontier valley , and a 3 inch flat grind LT Wright Next Gen. However none of these grinds work as good as a Scandi grind Puukko like Kellam or other Puukkos. I tried all these grinds even a convex grind and nothing to me at least works as good as a Scandi grind for wood.

To me it depends on what it’s for. Scandi is great for woods craft but I like them all for different things
