Bear Grizzly Bow History Backyard Shoot
Here's a fun vlog on the history of the Bear Archery Grizzly Bow and some backyard talk as well.
The Bear Grizzly has been in production for over 60 years and is still a work horse in the Bear Archery line up. The bow is a recurve design and the current model has had the same design with no changes for over 50 years. That says a lot about the performance and durability of the BEAR Archery Grizzly. I would highly recommend this bow to anyone that wants to hunt or 3d shoot. You will find that the bow is really comfortable and easy to shoot. Great video!!!! The Bear Grizzly is my favorite recurve and it's the bow I've shot when I got started. The last design change of the Grizzly was in 1964 and says slot about the design of the bow. I own 5 Bear Grizzly recurves from 1962 and 3 70s models and a newer one. It's still ranked as one of the best mid range price bows for hunting. Thanks again for the video

Great thoughts mate I have been in love with archery for 30 years modern compound 2 self made trade bows I've got Heep's of them and my 55# bear grizzly is still my favourite go to from Australia

I have literally shot 1000s of arrows with mine growing up! Target shooting,, small game hunting, BSA archery merit badge instructor and participating in the JFK presidential Physical Fitness Program (yea, I know I'm getting "old")

Excellent shooting! I love trad archery. Your bow looks exactly like my old 55# 62" Ben Pearson Cougar (or was it Puma) from 1968. My nephew commandeered it a few years ago but at 32 years of age he's still not strong enough to string it! Kids these days! I've been trying to talk my 87 or 88 year old brother-in-law to sell me his 50# Bear Grizzly from the same era (1968) but he keeps forgetting. I'll keep trying!

Always a good video.. been doing archery for years .... however.... been watching zac Fowler videos on his sling shots . 🤬 now I have the slingshot bug . Throw it in my pocket, hand full of ammo and off I go. Puts food on the table also.

Bear Grizzly is one of the best hunting bow ever made . First design is optimal : length and limbs profile Second : rugged , this bow is made for intensive use Third : silence - if this bow is properly tune (brace height ) and heavy arrows = dead silent You can spend more money on a bow with exotic woods but the purpose of a bow is to cast arrows accuratly and thats what does a Grizz' Dacron string is not a problem and speed loss in minimal ...it also help quiet a bow. I own 3 grizzly, one vintage Grayling area and two modern 2012 and 2017...don't be a snob new Bear bows are as good as vintage ...in fact they are the same ..coming from same molds . Telling a Grayling grizzly is better is just non-sense....same bows....i even consider that newer limbs tips , slimer and thiner had speed to the bow ;) Chris from France
