The bears who visit my house (and sleep on my back porch) have knocked over a fridge, climbed a ladder onto the roof and happily destroyed styrofoam and cardboard packaging which they scattered all over the yard. The Amazon delivery guy jokingly asked if he should give parcels directly to the bears! LOL! Lola and babies look curious, not destructive. They are so adorable! Thanks Patrick.

I'm so glad that, step by step, you're all turning things around. Never mind us - those bears and all the other life must be so disoriented at the moment. Good to see them. Good to hear you and your neighbours. Sorry about their blue roof. It's so strange to compare to here, in Yorkshire uk, and think that the small river 2 streets away could've gone to half way up my 2nd floor windows - by some comparisones I've seen. Mother Nature sure has a way to make people forget their small differences and bring out the community spirit. Blessings to you all 💜

Good flea market find. I thought they would each try out the chair. I noticed how quick your neighbor got up and out of the chair. The bears seem to sticking close to you and your neighbors. Maybe they feel safe being close. The woods are probably a mess and noisy right now. Poor things. Very confusing for them. Hope things get back to normal soon for you and your neighbors. 🙏❤

Bears tend to favour the antique. For one, the stuff is more unique. And for another, bears are round. Ensconced in velvet may be found To sit quite snug, in comfort, see. They do not like utility. A bit of frill, a bit of flounce - Gives so much more that special bounce. ❤

Sometimes, if they are twisting their paws when they walk, they are leaving what is called a scent or a stomp trail. They stomp on the grass and then twist their foot to grind the scent from their scent pads into that spot

Curious cutie's. About half way through when Lola moved closer by front of his car i thought she might of been doing the jaw chopping like some bears will do if they're thinking of attacking. Only in North Carolina are humans safe near Momma Bears with their cubs. But maybe only if the Momma's know those of you they've visited over the years. I'm curious if anyone were hiking in the woods in your area if a Momma with cubs would be aggressive since it's in their territory or of they'd first try to distance themselves away from humans they may run into in the woods. @PatrickConley do you have some stories to share with us such as occurrences i just mentioned, human visitors being stupid like we get in West Yellowstone, anything happen with people camping etc in around your area and North Carolina? I'd really enjoy hearing any stories you have and any news links about the Bears there. Thank You for sharing with us. Glad your safe near relieved to see many of the Bears survived.
