This is good, it makes a song that was meant to be darkly intense into something that's dramatically darkly intense. Makes you feel like your floating in space helplessly, or on the final cooling board. The song is amazing in the show, solid bass work and monaural help.

Surprisingly euphonic, well done! You must have added some secret spice into the track to get it to sound so smooth - it couldn't have been as simple as slowing down the playback.
@JerfVR3 жыл бұрын
The secret spice is mainly an old program called Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch. It slows audio while still maintaining the tone of the original file. Without messing with the frequency like normal playback rate decreasing. Here's the link if you want to play around with it yourself. I've found x2, x6 and x8 generally produce the best results. Works better with sounds in the string instrument range. hypermammut.sourceforge.net/paulstretch/

Here's the google drive link, should work. It's in .ogg format because that's what the audio program (Paul's Extreme Soundstretch) outputs drive.google.com/file/d/1-6iPmdz9FOig4SfKgkmrK5U0wJvFNfvW/view?usp=sharing

Sorry, I have to say thins. I love the result but... you can't actually make something "800%" slower... you can make it 800 TIMES slower, as in multiplied the speed by 1/800; but you can't make it 800% slower... unless you mean you've made it faster but in reverse...
@JerfVR3 жыл бұрын
I am aware. The 800% slower "genre" is more accurately 1/8th speed stretching through an old program called Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch. The 800% likely came from the slider in the program showing x8.00 when you select this option. The original videos were titled with the incorrect definition of the slow effect. I'm more interested in helping people who enjoy this type of sound easily access it through search, rather it than being titled in a technically accurate way.
@zakh.c82073 жыл бұрын
@@JerfVR And it **does** help, really, wonderful result, thank you :) (I just read Innumeracy by John Allen Paulos, so I'm probably a bit too sensitive to the effect on the general population of using percentages figuratively :P )
