I Come here every week to listen to Bear and watch reruns of the show frequently. Why doesnt the fanbase become bigger? Is that a confirmation that the world is going to get more ill instead of better? BSG enriched my life forever and as long as my brain keeps the abbility to keep memory in store this show and it's music will be entwined into my dna.... forever.. immortal.. And again, the best show ever on tv, better than any movie ever made. I wonder if Ronald(humble as he is) Knows..

overall our society is degenerating very slowly and our intelect goes down the drain with it too. This show is only for the 'soft touch' people with a deeper emotion and perspective than a lot of the other main stream folks. Not trying to judge here btw..

Beautiful !!! Very celtic inpired. Especially the reglar version which has what sounds like bag pipes and flute. This version reminds me so much if another one of ny favourite composers, James Horner (who left us way too early). Especially "The Ludlows" from "Legends Of The Fall" soundtrack. The Adam Family Suit version reminds me of "Braveheart" theme. It brings tears to my eyes and memories of a better time before my ex wife left me and also my father was still alive. 😢 This song is right up there among my favourite Songs from Loreena McKennit "Bonny Portmore", David Arkenstone "The Dragon's Breath", William Coulter "Keening Of The Three Marys" and Two Steps From Hell.

Nee, de meeste snappen niet dat ik zijn muziek zo geweldig vind. Hij weet gewoon precies welke soort muziek bij welk moment hoort. Hij weet er heel veel gevoel in te brengen. Ik krijg soms kippenvel van de muziek. Echt geweldig! En dan niet alleen de muziek van BSG, ook al vind ik die wel het beste. Heb inmiddels al 11 albums van Bear. van BSG, Caprica, The walking dead, The Cape, Rest Stop (echt een aanradder trouwens) en nog vele andere. Maar ik zei al, hij weet de muziek zo goed te brengen :)

Yes, i have seen that. I try to see as much as i can that relates to BSG. I don't know anyone in my neigbourhood that got the show the way i did. So again, that still makes me a bit sad. it says something about the state of mind. The state of mind that we as a people are in. Rushed lives/politics/personal succes/.wars/.etc etc etc. People aren't that aware anymore and miss something. Great part of thart people don't have the capibility to even understand this show i think.

I feel exactly the same, I don't know anyone who likes it, they get put off by the name and the fact its 'another one of those science fictions'. They don't know how wrong they are, its much deeper than that, it really reflects the state of the world today. Melissa Wright themes in his music are repeated to match characters, wander the fleet would therefore be a combination of character themes, this makes his music more than a soundtrack, but part of the show and story itself. As you see the series' develop, so do the themes.
