That was great Jon. That set up takes some time and effort, but I agree the weathers been awful so it’s a good use of time to get it right for doing the indoor photography. The bears are great. Wonder how the lighting would be on real skin tones? Probably pretty good as it’s not to harsh 👍

Hi Phil hope you're well and thanks for commenting. It does take a while to set up i'll to try and streamline it a bit and I need to come up with a different solution for holding the background. That a project for the next rainy day, a self portrait. best wishes stay safe Jon

Great to see a different way of setting up for a photoshoot. Nice photos, you should ask the bears to smile 😃 only joking. Looking forward to your next video. Regards David

Hi David hope you're well and thanks for commenting, I definitely need to come up with a better solution for the background. Never work with children or animals as the saying goes. Best wishes stay safe Jon

Hi Jon, hope you are both well. Great set up, I love using LED pannels and strip lights for photography, its easier to see the results live and you can control the environment better and you can get creative with them. I have loads of LED and bicolour lights due to making films so they always come in handy, hope the cats didn't mind you taking over their room for this experiment, the one by the door didn't seem too bothered, it didn't move the whole video. great idea using the chairs, great results, nice even soft lighting.

Hi Keith hope you're well and thanks for commenting. I definitely think the LED's are the way to go, as you say you can see the results live and see any changes when changing the lighting angles. I think more testing is needed and switching over the my nikon as the lenses are faster. Once I have sorted out the basic lighting set up I may invest in a better set of lights and some sort of background frame. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen

Hey Jon. Hope you both are well. Love the Mug. Good setup guide there Jon and its good to see different ways and equipment to use when shooting indoors (umbrella from previous and Fixed lighting on this one). It goes to show the differences in the outcomes too. The umbrella output was softer but the LED's had a better sharpness to it. It good to see how just by changing the lighting you get different effects. Nice job. Stay Safe.

Hi Steve hope you're well and thanks for the kind comment. Both set ups work well and as you say give a different look to the picture, problem is they're both a real pain to set up. I must perfer the look with the LED lights and as they're always on it's much easier to judge the exposure and the final look of the picture. Definitely more testing needed and I'll use the Nikon next time as the lenses I have are faster. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen

Hi Jon. Hope you and Karen are staying safe and well. Nice little set up mate. That’s one thing I never done is use your table to control your camera. I have to give that a go if it works with a Canon. Nice clear photos too mate. Take care mate, shawn.

Hi Shawn hope you're well and thanks for commenting. The setup works well but I still think it needs a few modifications, and it's a pain to set up. Definitely worth getting the app to control the camera with a tablet or smartphone, the canon one is called camera conenct it's a fiddle to set up and a bit clunky. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen
