Mama and 3 Cubs . Where do the bears normally hibernate? Has to be hard they have been tr traumatize. by the hurricane.

@debramamula9924 I think with all the downed trees and huge piles of debris, they actually have more places to hide and rest now. Some of the city bears will spend winters in crawl spaces of houses, underneath unused vehicles in backyards or in an abandoned storage shed. Supposedly, there are some that bed down in the city itself. The wild bears, far out in the wild, have quiet, peaceful winters. There are great articles on this subject. Google.

Black Bears can run 30 plus miles per hour.....if momma saw you and deemed you a threat to her cubs, things could have got ugly real fast. Thumbs up to ya from Lake George, NY !!
