4:56 If you ever see a crossing malfunction like this or have a vehicle/object on the tracks in the US there's a small blue sign that has a phone number to call and the crossing number. Calling the train dispatcher directly through that phone number on the sign will get the info to the train operator faster than dialing 911. Still call 911 after though. The railroads aren't always the greatest at sharing information.

@ivanstepanovic132712 күн бұрын
The worst thing you can do while driving on snow and especially ice is - slam the brakes. The least you can expect to happen is when in snow, you do manage to stop, but start moving again (particularly on slopes) might be an issue. The worst that can happen is - you become a sleigh. The car will just keep going having the will of its own and you can't even steer it properly. So, the best advice is - keep your wheels turning at low rotation which usually means put the shifter in highest gear possible and keep going with lowest accelerator pressure possible and no sudden commands whatsoever. If going uphill, set a pace and keep it all the way; no accelerating or slowing down. Avoid pressing brakes and if you do, do it just for split second and ever so slightly. Slow down using shifter and engine rather than brakes. Of course, this works fine with manual transmission. As for automatic, I don't know, never in my life have I driven an automatic and don't intend to.
