Very few bear encounters end that way. She was very fortunate that this bear sensed that it needed human help. Most will attack you through hunger, fear or protection for their young.

Why show a grizzly with cubs? Not a very convincing STORY. Not sure the mama black bear would leave the cub in the first place. Someone has a good imagination.
