I very rarely comment on KZbin, but I wanted to make an exception for you because you are only one of two KZbinrs that I could listen to and watch all day. Other people go on and on and I have to fast forward them to get to actual content, but whether you are painting or die cutting or putting cards together, EVERYTHING you say is helpful, instructional and thoughtful. With that being said, I love to see you paint in real time. It is very helpful to someone like me to see how you lay your color down and blend it out. As another person said, we can fast forward if we want to skip it, but I will never skip over your beautiful painting! All of your cards, whether they are cute critters or peaceful scenes or ornaments or whatever are all very classic and timeless and I am always impressed with everything you turn out. Thank you for sharing your gift!

Yes! I like being able to see what you are doing. I was so intimidated to try the watercolor technique until I watched your instruction video earlier this year. And Jill! You were right, I’ve kept at it and now (tada) this is my favorite way to color stamped images. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Hi Jill! After reading the comments, I sound like a broken record. Thank you for showing the real time painting! It's really helpful to see just how quickly it takes you to paint the critters. I think I will try using a smaller brush, though. In my mind, the larger brush seems like it would be awkward painting in a small area. You make it work by twisting and rolling the tip. Such talent you have! Thanks for another great video! Looking forward to the next!!!❤

Once in awhile I love real time painting. It makes it more realistic for me and gives realistic expectations for my own painting. I enjoy seeing the process you go through and the manipulation of the brush, paint, patting off your brush and color blending. Definitely not boring. I always feel happy when I'm checking my emails and see one of your cardmaking classes. Please keep making them it adds a lot to my day . I watch them over and over to catch each detail of what you're doing. Thanks

Great video Jill. Liked both the real time then little sped up. Love bears. Have learned so much from your videos was finally able to start to do some Thanksgiving cards with the reinkers. Hard for me to know what shade of color to choose to use yet. Following your stamping a bunch at once, stamped Autumn Masterpiece with toffee crunch but forgot to switch to watering can when stamping Autumn Air. Rather than tossing out I figured a way to change the whole color scheme to browns. Thank you very much for your awesome videos and teaching us a new way to color.

You always give me even more ideas for using things I may have on hand - even thought I want them all - LOL. I appreciate your slowing down so I can see how much water you use (after all it's called watercolor) and how much pigment. I had a friend over to paint and she was going to throw her used pallet away because she said it had all dried up. I was so glad I could show her that dried watercolor is just fine - after all, to use it she had to wet it. She said it was ingrained to throw dried paint away and was very glad I reminded her that dried watercolor is totally usable. I find it usually gives me a starting place to wet some of the thin, dried paint. I really like that I saw how you used just a touch of deep color in the shadow places then went back to a blotted off brush tip to add water and let the dark paint work it's magic into the damp paper. I adore watching you paint - slow is great but I love all of it no matter what you do. I also find that the critters work on lots of different types of cards due to the wonderful sentiments that Penny Black has and you are really good at matching a cute critter with a sweet sentiment. That is one great thing I've learned from you - critter's can tie sentiments together so nicely.

Jill, as alway I love your artwork. I love how you showed us the way to paint the first card . It’s always helpful to get one card showing that way then the others can be speeded up if other people want . But I do prefer the first way. Your cards are stunning. I bought all the penny Black winter stamps and a die set, embossing too. They are always gorgeous. Merry Christmas Jill.☕️🧁🍫🩵⛄️🎄🛷⛸️❄️XXX
