I've had a mod that has a better looking version of this for longer than Bethesda's version has existed. It's also more lore friendly as you find it on the chinese submarine, instead of just a military checkpoint

It's in the game lore wise. Play Fallout 76 and you can learn a lot about the Communists and the tech they used. The Chinese Stealth Armor was used by special forces who infiltrated the US mainland to spy on government operations. They even had bunkers which they used as Base of Operations. I believe the next Fallout will touch more on the Communists and give us more lore. But yes, the suit is indeed part of the Fallout universe and isn't something wacky like many of the mods. Everything in the Creation Club is lore friendly. Mods however are different

The (virtually) real question is whether it's any better than a five piece chameleon armor set. With BOS and ultra-light trim, a combat armor set is less than 5 weight and gives 75 rad resist; plus you can put on 2 pieces with ballistic weave armor. This also gives the option of biocomm mesh, for those that love their psychojet. The camouflage effect is about as good as a stealth boy, and it's part of the base game.

In 76 there's Communist outposts manned by a bunch of ex-sleeper units (Temu Enclave, if you will) and the suits are given to elite spies. You get one in-game for essentially destroying the compound and helping one of the families.

Honestly, if you really going to spend money on creation club content, I HIGHLY suggest getting the tactical backpack. You can mod it to increase damage resistance, carry more items and it comes with its own armor slot so you can still wear all your armor pieces. Its hands down the best item which helps you from beginning to end. You can even buy more at vendors and upgrade those then hand them to your companions to wear. Makes some companions look really cool

Last Time I used something from creation club (Brotherhood Paint Job) It damaged a Save file and I had to use a Save File 2 Hours earlier, took the Paint off and everything was fine^^ Besides sometimes Green Squares appears when I deal damage and if this occurs every Characters Eyes becomes Green/purple and Hair Textures became the same.
